I joined about a year and a half ago, but of course I was drinking then, so there a lot of things I don't remember.....now as to your question. I don't think that he is too old. I've definitely debated in the past whether to hire him. He's a little 'rougher' looking than what I usually like. But he's got something. But I think that was either before I noticed or he started posting about his interest in bareback sex. I know there are probably some escorts I've been with who bareback without admitting and some who are HIV positive who haven't let me know- and in general I play safe except for oral-but with him almost 'celebrating' doing bareback, it's a turn off for me intellectually no matter how handsome I think he is-although he went overboard on the tattoos too for my taste.

I think Ray Dalton is incredibly hot.

 

He may not be drop dead gorgeous, but he has an amazing body, incredible ass, and seems so sexually insatiable. I would do him in a heartbeat. However, as some of the previous posts have stated... knowing he revels in bareback sex (and has talked frequently about taking "poz" loads in his various orifices on twitter, etc), well it scares me off. I also wouldn't hire him, but that has nothing to do with his age. He does have a certain rough sex appeal, but he's too rough for my taste. I don't even like one tattoo, though I can overlook it on an otherwise hot guy. When someone is covered with tats, it is definitely a turn off for me.

May I redirect the thread to a partial part of the op? Let's put aside the bb and the tats and simply focus on the age ...ok? "Is he too old to escort?" The answer is no. I do not feel like there is a mandatory retirement age for us. Every time I retire I get bombarded by requests for me to come out of retirement. As someone posted as long as you have a good or great income and there is a market for you then why quit as long as you are still PERFORMING like a pro? Each of us has to make that choice for ourselves. I used to run from my age and hide it but lately I am embracing it because I am findING that the market for older hung masculine tops is not a NICHE market at all but rather a BOOMING market. I used to get mad when a twink or a twunk called me DADDY but now I love it and I play it up for all it is worth. A whole generation of young gay men have grown up without that strong Daddy figure in their lives or perhaps they had him and a guy like him is the object of their fantasy life. Well I am glad to be called Papi all day and all night. There are also alot of clients 50 plus who do NOT feel at all comfortable with BOYS 18-30. Let me add one thing: IT IS CRUCIAL FOR US OLDER PROS TO RUN CURRENT PICS IN OUR ADS. Nothing is more of a turn off for a client than to expect one thing and another show up. I wish the websites after one year would delete an escorts pics and force him to update.

 

I'm with you 100% on the need for people to not only add new photos regularly but also get rid of old ones, particularly ones that show the face since people's faces definitely change over time even if one keeps one's body in the same relative shape. I first started hiring guys with regularity over a dozen years ago and some guys are still using the same photos now that they used around Y2K and, sadly, some are trying to claim they are the same age now that they were claiming then. I hired at least a few such men and their claimed ages weren't even accurate then. Why someone who's definitely in his fifties (and, in one case, probably mid sixties by now) is going to advertise that he's in his early thirties is beyond me -- unless he's only looking to take people's money and not get repeat business. I get fudging on age a little bit, like someone who's 39 claiming to be 35. Claiming an age that's clearly at least a decade off, however, is just ridiculous.

 

Here's to hot, older, hung tops who are secure enough about themselves to behave with integrity! :)
