Although NYC currently has a few male strip clubs, none can compare with the Gaiety. It was through the Gaiety that I got to meet many board members and those very hot looking Montreal imports... The Gaiety managed to survive without a bar and the sale of alcohol. Seems impossible to accomplish that today.

Not living in NYC I was only there once... and I guess on a bad day... and that was years ago when I first started to "find" myself. Consequently I never thought of returning when in town even after I eventually "found" myself.

Yes, that happened at 'Show Palace' on 8th Avenue and W 44th. It was like the Gaiety, but raunchier and more non-caucasian dancers. It closed down many years before the Gaiety did.
