The OP (who seems to have disappeared two months ago) didn't say he expected a top notch quality escort at less than $300; He was looking for referrals on some of the guys charging less.

 

The OP set his criteria way differently than mine (white, under 35). There are some top-notch well-reviewed ethnic guys and guys over 35 with lower rates. Chris Roberts has been a recent favorite on this site, for example.

 

I can remember Rod Majors aka Excellent-Top (please let's not get into his right-wing gay porn denying past) justifying setting lower rates despite a great reputation. David of SF (now Palm Beach) has generally charged much less than $300 for an hour, even when on tour, yet he is considered one of the top escorts in the country (based on my own experience, I agree). And it is true that a lot of duds charge less than $300--but many duds or frauds charge $300 as well. Many excellent escorts charge $300 or more (such as the Santana, a superb escort, and AJ Irons when he is on tour, a superb escort and spectacular guy).

 

The point some posters are making, and I agree, is that there is not a necessary correlation between a quality experience and a $300/300+ price tag. The key variable is this: Does the guy have a good track record, with reviews from reliable reviewers on this website.
