This thread is evidence of the "I want it when I want it" or "I want it now" pathos that many gay men elevate to instant gratification status. So many gay men lack patience or self-discipline, which is, for me, a serious turn-off. Maybe insatiable appetites will change now that we are permitted to serve openly in the military. Too bad it may take years of open service to influence a new generation.

Totally Agree especially since "Bo Dean" is not a Working Guy who is discussed much around here other than on occasion about how Entertaining his Videos are. There's much more Frequently named guys who would bring more interest in a Review that apparently may need a response. Year's ago I reviewed a guy..nice review BUT I pointed out the fact that he did have bad breath due to probably the amount of supplements he threw in that fine body. Well that stirred things up among his Daddy Fans and I also got a nasty emailfrom him..all over nothing really. He has since Retired....He did have a fine Butt Sweet Memories for me!

I think the interest is mostly in the story, and not in real sexual gratification - lots of people want to know what happened, regardless of whether they are likely to have the opportunity to hire the escort in question, IMO. And the appetite for news/information/gossip NOW is constantly stoked by the internet, texting, etc. We're not used to having to wait more than a few hours. I don't think this is a 'gay thing'.

I think we all should express our appreciation to Daddy for expediting this (much-anticipated) review. It was up quickly, and Daddy was responsive to the heightened interest many others had in this guy.

 

I assume that Daddy gave Bo Dean an opportunity to respond. It strikes me as significant that Dean did not take that opportunity.

 

Burnsy, thanks for doing this review; it will help others. On the dinner-after-bad-session part, I guess Burnsy was simply attracted to this guy and wanted his company. I would not have predicted that such a guy would flake so completely. Presumably on drugs however, and that is a cautionary tale for all of us.

Personally, I would not have wanted to spend more time with him and certainly not have gotten in a car with him driving BUT if he was the reviewer's fantasy man, it is possible the reviewer was still "under the spell" of Bo Dean and just enjoyed being with him and did not realize the full risk.

 

When a person has a fantasy about an escort, they are already removed from the real world. How many times have we had a reviewer write something like "I have a best friend now for life" or something close. We sometimes lose our mental grip on the real world with these men; it has happened to me.

Assuming everything the reviewer states about Bo's behavior is true, it sounds to me like Bo has drug or mental illness issues. As another poster indicated, it is significant that Bo did not respond to this review....although, of course, he still may.

While the client made different choices than I would have, especially after the weirdness of the first paid hour, I am grateful that he survived the ordeal, lives to make better choices in the future, and wrote a detailed review of the encounter as a caution to many others. For the decisions he made, the client exposes himself to criticism, for which I hope we will refrain. I thank him for coming forward to acknowledge this to our community. Some members have had dreadful hiring experiences that went unreported because they didn't want to be scrutinized in this forum. I don't understand the fear, but as an example, another member here told me in person that he once had an awful encounter with a well-known, beloved escort, did not write a review of it, then later made complimentary comments about that same provider in this forum. So, I appreciate this client's candor.

In his pants, obviously. There will be plenty of people on this board who will give the reviewer sympathy—I am not one of them. After reading the review, I am genuinely surprised it did not contain the following:

 

"Before we got to the restaurant, Bo said he wanted to stop and pick up some meth since his stores were low. I was kinda disturbed by this since I was hungry... but oh well."

 

Let the attack begin. But please keep this in mind: you shouldn't allow yourself to get to the point of possibly being in real danger before you have the common fucking sense to end an appointment.

Well we all react differently in different situations. I know for a fact that Burnsy is both Truthful and has a very kind Trusting Nature.

 

That being said I am sure he has learned from this Bad Situation. Bo Dean Physically is a Hunk and makes damn good SCRIPTED Porno BUT apparently the guy has "Issues"! No Response..so far

 

So once again Buyer Beware..this is MUCH more than the Old situation of the Working Guy not being into it with a Client!

As Max predicted, I'll give Burnsy some sympathy (and I thank him for subjecting himself to a bit of ridicule by posting the review.)

 

Reading the review, it sounds like it was clear that Bo Dean was in a bad (possibly drug-induced) mental state from the beginning. However, it is important to realize that Burnsy wrote the review from the perspective of an encounter-gone-bad. As it was actually happening, these warning signs may have not seemed so overwhelming as they do in retrospect. I think that a lot of us have tolerated a bit of disconcerting behavior, believing that we were still in control of the situation. So, as it was happening, Burnsy probably thought "this guy is a bit odd" but still wanted to make a warm, friendly connection until suddenly he crossed the line on the ride home and felt he was in real danger.

 

The review is a negative one, and focuses on the stuff that went wrong, but there must have been a bit more to the story... This was not a typical escort grabs the money, has to go get something out of his car, and never comes back story. Even with a so-so sexual encounter, Burnsy was still interested in the guy, offered to help him with his email problems, and wanted to get to know him a little better over dinner. There must have been some kind of connection.

 

So, thanks Burnsy for posting the detailed review. I think that stories like this help us all refine our instincts when we find ourselves in situations like this.

Well said. I too have been quick to judge others on their actions while in the middle of a hire, but in hindsight, over the years, I have been in similar situations as burnsy, and in the heat of the moment made some dreadful decisions. Monday morning quarterbacking is the easiest thing to do. I have been in the middle of a few disastrous hires, and did not react and leave like I should have. Looking back it is easy for me to critique my behavior, but in the moment, there are many emotional factors that come into play that effect our decision making.

 

 

I appreciate this member coming forward with such a detailed report, warning us of a possible disastrous hire. This encounter is something that everyone can learn from, whether or not you agree with how the client handled the situation.

I understand that, but I simply do not look at this profession in such a negative light, no more than I look at anyone in that negative light that I pay to provide a service for me. It is certainly your prerogative to feel that way, but I do not.

Forty plus years and counting since I started hiring, a "few disastrous hires" can be expected, but I can also count them on one hand, so it is not the norm. I think when you talk about the profession of escorting, and use phrases like "exploitation of human flesh" then personally it just seems to me that you have already set yourself up for a negative experience. I don't label an entire profession based on a few "bad apples" IMHO
