According to the BMI charts, I'm "overweight." You'd laugh at this if you saw me.

I'm overweight according to my BMI. Honestly you would not want to see me any slimmer. My face sags and my tits droop, my ass drops and my legs look like a 90 year old running a marathon. Stocky is just nice.

Probably many definitions and from that many interpretations, Webster has the following:

Stocky - compact, sturdy, and relatively thick in build

Beefy - heavily and powerfully built

If one wants to interpret thick and heavily as being fat, then so be it but I think it is a bit of a stretch as so much depends on the height, bone structure, tone/fitness, muscle structure, etc. To automatically say stocky and/or beefy is fat is not correct in my view.

imo under weight can look as bad as over weight. my mother took me to a number of dr's as a child for being under weight. they had no medical explanation other than a high metabolism rate. I was picked on and teased by people for being under weight and the worst teasing came from fat people.. I didn't start gaining weight until the age of 22.

I have weighed at 6'4 as little as 170 to as much as 230. I hated 230 wore a 38 in jeans and felt horrible luckily that only lasted about a year. After that I've made it a goal to stay somewhere between to 190 as the lowest and to not let myself go above 200.

The "other" was JJ's other personality/alter ego when he's not had cock for a few days, I am sure he's called Jennifer Hud.... no Rock Hudson

At my age, if I have cock once a week, its enuf for me.... And believe me Steve, one personality is ALL I can handle..... :o

Umm, no it doesn't. I see clients and men all the time who are "stocky" or "beefy" and aren't at all fat. The tall daddy I sucked off the other night who was built like a football player (but was a coach in my mind) was "stocky." The client I'm about to go meet in 20 minutes is built like a short rugby player. He's beefy. According to the BMI charts, I'm "overweight." You'd laugh at this if you saw me.

It's not about weight as much as it's about waist size. If you're under 6'2" and your waist is more than 34 inches, then you're fat. Period. I'm sorry but there's not pretending that BEEFY or STOCKY means you're not fat UNLESS the people calling themselves BEEFY or STOCK really have athletic or muscular builds. Someone should post some pics and ask people to use one word -- BEEFY, STOCKY, ATHLETIC, MUSCULAR, or FAT -- to describe them. I would but I've never figured out how to post pics here.

I'll use myself as an example. I know I need to lose at least 25 lbs. I'm 5'11" and I weigh 195. My pants size is 36". Although they're really tight, I just refuse to buy new clothes. I used to be 165 and wear a 32" pants. I call myself FAT. My friends and people who meet me say "oh no, you're not fat." YES I AM. What I'm not is OBESE. But I'm still FAT.

I'd be willing to be that 9 out of 10 people who you'd call STOCKY OR BEEFY I'd call fat ... it's also about ideals and ... well, a different subject I suppose.

I think it depends on the height to weight ratio I wear a 34 at 6'4 and there's people that call me skinny.

That sounds ideal to me. If you're 6'4" and a 34 inch waist that sounds just about right.

I met a black ripped guy for a massage the other day. He was 6'3' and had a 30" waist and weighed 175. I would have guessed he weighed 200 easily. He was very ripped and muscular. Very little body fat. But not the bulky bodybuilder look. Lean but large muscles. Ideal if you ask me.

See here[/url] for examples of sexy stocky guys (aka "average" guys), they aren't fat. Muscles with slightly higher body fat percentage is not the same as "obese", we're not talking cascading billows of adipose tissue here. Besides, everyone's personal weight desirability scales are calibrated differently. Fuck Madison Avenue and it's glorification of anorexia chic! To me 32 is definitely skinny, 28 is a toothpick. One thing I hate is being poked with protruding bones all over the place. OK, except that bone. And if looking at your abs make me think of lobster for dinner, there's too much ripping going on.

Sorry, I didn't get past the first few pics. I found them all UNATTRACTIVE in the extreme ... so none of the words being discussed here mattered LOL.

Those definitions remind me of horoscopes. They can fit anyone one chooses to shoehorn into them! LOL.

Absolutely underweight is awful too. That's why I can't stand twinks. They all look like anorexic girls!

Anyone can interpret the definitions of beefy, stocky, fat, etc anyway they choose and I just so happen to not agree that the first two are equivalent to being fat in all cases.

From what i've seen guys that call themselves beefy or stocky are fat. not obese but something alone the lines of 20 lbs over weight. Female friends tell me that in their experience guys calling themselves athletic were also fat

What someone calls themselves and how others perceive see them is not always going to be equal and in many (maybe most) cases they will be different.

My personal rules forbid me to express the preference: "Yes!"

May I delicately point out as a FFM (Full Figured Male) that in several countries I'm a prime catch... :p so take that you skinny runts!

(seems like Daddys having too much fun! Interview Friday! What's that gesture called where your hold your arm up at a 90 degree, make a fist and pull it down quickly?)

In several countries, you would make a fine meal for their families, simmered in a pot with some home-grown stew-vegetables ! :D
