I was wondering if any guys knew of any sites that specialize in role play or S&M ,me and my hubby are getting into this sort of stuff more and more and i'd like to find out a bit more about it,to be honest it never really interested me but once you start its actually real fun.

 

We havent done a lot of different stuff just a bit of domination by me which my hubby loved he got so excited he snapped the handcuffs that i was using to cuff him to a chair .

 

I've got a few ideas regarding roleplay and Fantasy scenes which i hope to do once i get the required 'props'but would like to find out some more so we can push the envelope as it were.

Body Electric ( bodyelectric.org ) offers a 2.5 day beginning course as well as a full week more advanced course on leather spirit and techniques. The beginning course, "Power, Surrender and Intimacy: Exploring Conscious S/M", is offered once a year in each of six cities (Chicago, Boston, Oakland, Seattle, New York and Los Angeles). The course catalogue doesn't say anything about any prerequisites. I think that it can be an entry level course. If you go to the one May 30 - June 1 in Boston this year, my Cub, Maverick, will be one of the other students you'll run into.

 

I also teach a one day course in the same subject in my home in Houston. Day chosen for your convenience if private classes or if you want to be in a group class I have that one day every two months or so.

I feel entitled to comment on shotgunvideo.com, having appeared in two of the videos, and having known "Roger" personally since 1977. The request was for resources about role playing; shotgunvideo (which is very tightly focused on ball torture) is just about the opposite of that. It is about real guys, really into a very specific and narrow subset of S&M; there is no roleplaying going on at all.

 

Another way to learn about the more general world of leather/SM would be to read the personal ads of what people are looking for. There are pay sites like leathermensdungeon.com and leathernavigator.com, where its possible to really get an idea of what guys are looking for. I used to cruise the webrings (which are free) like "dungeon alliance" (h_ttp://E.webring.com/hub?sid=&ring=dunal&id=&list -- take out the underscore), "GLBT S&M Bond" , (similar toabove with id glbtsm),

"Gay SM Masters Ring" (id = gaysm), "Gay Bondage", (id=gaybondage). You can still find some live sites, but there are lot of broken links and commercial sites.

 

I second the recommendation about (vintage) porn mags. Did anybody mention "Drummer" or "Manifest" or "International Leathermen"?
