I thought plenty of guys were sexy even among those thatdidn't even make the first cut, but Travis is a knock-out.

Did anyone notice that as a judge, Lamas was always praising the guys bodies and giving them very high marks? Makes one wonder just how straight this dude really is. I also wonder how far the contestants would go off-stage to get the nod from the judges and how many of them have ever escorted. Could we have a can of worms here?

I saw the first hour, but then had to leave. I thought the premise of the show was good. A LOT of hotties! But I also thought the judges were just plain stupid!!! They tried too hard to act like American Idol judge Simon. It's a shame they couldn't have come up with a more original judging mechanism.

Someone please explain to me why the girls were required to wear bikinis but the guys only wore long trunks?

 

One thing I found interesting was that although several of the guys were gorgeous, it didn't necessarily make them "sexy" - they were just a kind of generic beautiful. There's nothing wrong with that but there wasn't anything particularly special about them either.

I hated that too.

 

The females were in "happy Spandex" and the guys looked dressed to impress their grandmothers. Although there was one who looked like his board shorts would slip off his waist any moment. :9

Mike Fleiss, the show's creator, explained the central issue this way: "I don't care who you are. The question is not, 'Are you a clean-living hot person? It is, 'Baby, are you hot?' " He said there was no need to conduct background checks on the contestants. "I am sure ABC would prefer the winner to not be a porn star," he allowed. "But that is in the hands of the American people."

 

So I'm hoping the winner turns out to be a gay porn star and/or escort -- and owns up to it!!

 

I love to watch middle america squirm...
