Maybe it's just me, but it is not about how much you can offer this forum. We come here for a variety of reasons. We thank people who post reviews and provide information, but we are not compelled or should not be compelled to do the same just because you have. Some members are prolific posters while others just take a back seat.

 

You were showing your arrogance when you pointed out your contributions to this forum (400 plus) compared to the other member who had less than 50.

 

I never equated quality with quantity, and mentioning my contributions over the years is not arrogance, it's fact.? The backseat is only entertaining to you because of posters like me and others. I suspect that MANY enjoyed Glutes.

Very true. I mentioned that I have contributed quite a bit to the forum and the site. I never mentioned or even totaled my quantity of posts.

Glutes' posts here, may be missed by some, even many, but we serve at the pleasure of the queen, and when we fail to maintain that pleasure, it is off to the Tower or off with the head. Even the most childish among us know that our actions have consequences. Adults accept those consequences. if Glutes' chooses the adult option and accepts his penalty and then returns, he will be welcomed back by some and others will cringe. Should he decide not to return, eventually there will be a thread lamenting the good old days and his name will be invoked and his posts will be praised and maligned and off we will go to another thread.

 

I am reminded of the American eighteen year old in Singapore who was to receive a number of lashes from a cane after vandalizing cars and road signs. There was an outcry here that it was excessive. Excessive, yes..but the cars and signs in Singapore are pristine.

 

(i believe the outcry from the US did get the number of lashes dropped but he did receive some lashes across his young firm naked buttocks.) So perhaps the cries of Glutes' supporters will have some effect.
