How often do you clients go out of your way to try to test us? Very often if I have an overnight, extended trip etc. I will (usually shortly after confirming the times) get another call/email/text asking if I am available at the same times. I can see a lot of escorts double-booking (which I think is wrong) but I always find it pretty peculiar that I get more than 1 overnight requests for the same date. I've never confronted anyone on it (why should it matter?) -- its always just been a big curiosity of mine.

 

But as for the sneaky clients that think I'm dumb enough to not realize that they just set their hotel clock back 25 minutes ... I always like to point it out right away and laugh as I start taking my clothes off Not like they'd be able to hold it off for another 25 minutes anyway hahah

I once had a client ask me to solve a very complex calculus problem, and then he canceled the appointment, not because I'd gotten it wrong (I'd gotten it right!) but because I'd forgotten to "show my notes" to prove I hadn't cheated. I really learned my lesson that time!

Well Xander, I will jump in here. First of all welcome to the boards. I am sure that there are clients out there that do that sort of thing. Both are despicable. Testing escorts and setting the clock back. I however, have NEVER done such nonsense. I have a tremendous amount of respect for escorts and what some of you guys have to put up with on a daily basis. Most of the escorts that I deal with are complete professional. Most come highly recommended. The thought of doing something so detrimental to a relationship is unheard of with the clients that I know.

 

Since joining here, less than a year ago, I have read with interest many of the post from escorts, and I realize that you guys really have to go through a lot of nonsense sometimes. If I were you and I caught a client testing me or setting the clock back or pulling any kind of unsavory stuff, that would be the last time that I ever dealt with him.

 

Sounds like you just finished with someone who did that to you. Let me apologize on behalf of all clients, and tell you that sort of thing should never happen...

I remember when I first started escorting (about a year ago) I would get people asking me what my weirdest experience was. I didn't have any stories then to be honest, but now I think I have some healthy discussion material...

-Not hot 20 somethings insisting on a discount on a repeated basis and then calling me unattractive (??)

-Millionaire drug addicts

 

I think there is wayyyy more glamour in the media/public's eyes when it comes to escorts. It pays WELL but its a lot of WORK. If you want to do well you have to treat it like a business. Add being a double major at a top school in the SE, working 2 part time jobs (research assistant positions), and keeping up with a wide range of other things it makes life hard to balance. No rest for the wicked..

Actually this is a funny one. I actually know someone that did that to an escort. When he didn't get his "Special treatment" or "little preferred discount" that he thought he was entitled to just because he had hired the guy a few times, he called me bitchin and complaining about how he thought the escort was not even attractive anyway. In my best West Hollywood voice I said "Honey paleeez, yesterday you were falling all over yourself to be with this kid, now suddenly he is unattractive? go tell it to your mama"

If you think these sneaky clients are doing you harm by messing with your schedule or trying to trick you into giving them more time than they're paying for, you're missing the true damage that is afoot. The real harm they're doing, if you let them, is slowly but surely making you bitter, jaded and suspicious of everyone who contacts you. One of life's greatest challenges is to gain the wisdom of experience without bitterness and distrust. As you encounter these slimeballs, it's natural to start believing that clients, in general, are this way.

 

Pause and consider the other clients. The ones who have treated you with dignity and respect. The ones who wanted to enjoy no more than they were entitled to. The ones who appreciated the service you provide and hopefully offered you some fulfillment, too. Answer each incoming call expecting one of these clients is on the line. And then, once you meet the good ones, be grateful that their path through life hasn't lead them to the bitterness and distrust that sneaky clients are burdened with.

 

Just to be clear, I'm not trying to suggest that you're bitter and jaded; I'm only trying to point out that you're at a fork in the road. I implore you to choose the positive path. Best of luck to you!

The sneaky clients are not the real problem. The problem is the sneaky escorts within your business. Advertising services they never intend on providing, showing up late, on a dinner appointment extending the dinner excessively long so they have less time to spend one-on-one with their clients. Advertising a price and listing services and at the time of the appointment certain activities are not included in the price quoated. Dont get me wrong. I have had some great service from many of you guys, but have equally as many that did not live up to the billing. If an escorts acts professionally and business like, the sneaky clients will go by the wayside in a hurry.

I believe the client is thinking the escort won't look at the clock at the very beginning. Appointment is for 8:00. Escort gets there at 8:00. Assumes he will leave at 9:00. Looks at clock by bed 40 minutes later and sees he still has 40 minutes to go if client set it back 20 minutes.

Yes, perhaps at Miss Pollyanna's School of Witchcraft, Wizardry and Escorting. In the real world, I have to deal with liars, flakes and less-than-perfect clients on a routine basis. Even some of my long-term regular clients have done things that surprised me, thinking I wouldn't notice or had become complacent with our situation. Always remember to be on your toes—in awareness and ability to think on your feet, and flexibility and you'll navigate most problems in this business successfully. If you stay naive and trust everyone at face value, eventually someone will take advantage of you (because they know they can) and it will be unpleasant.

Well put. I hope I have never taken advantage of any escort, but sadly have had the opposite of the escort taking advantage of me, which is why I no longer do extended hour hiring. When one is expecting a hot session and realizes that you spent the first hour "getting acquainted" and then 20 minutes showering (him), then the playful tease etc, and in the end only about 25 minutes of actual sex, yes I would feel the escort was taking advantage of the client.

 

As for some of the things originally posted by XANDER, I think you are very wise to check the time on a clock in an hotel room as you arrive (as they all seem to have one) and make sure you and the clock are in synch - and it is classy to make a joke of it BUT point it out too. Good move on your part.
