Craigslist stings...?

How does this work? Just wondering. Is it usually escorts the ones that do the stigs or clients? Or both?

 

I am interacting with a guy who's in that direction. You know, most things tells me he's legit, but something seems off.

You know, I think I may just be paranoid. I met this 18 year old kid off craigslist, but not in hookup sections of the site. Soon as I alluded to what I want to happen he wanted to talk on the phone right away. He seems surprised, or... Suspcious. I don't know, I'll let you know what happens.

I post a Craislist ad about 50% of the time when I am on the road. Granted I have very particular interests. Anyway, 90% of the responses are a waste of time (like when BN responded to my ad in SAT) but occasionally one gets a real gem. I have a 25-30 year old guy that responded in Detroit about 18 months ago. Great hook-up. He's married and totally masculine. We've connected about 5 times and both of us really enjoy it. Craigslist generally sucks, but occasionally pays off in spades.

stings on the craiglist depend on a few things. normally male cops will poss as clients to set up stings on a provider. normally out of a hotel room. I've never heard of a male cop posing as a male escort to get clients. Now in the straight side is different. female cops will poss as escorts to set up stings on clients. things vary from state to state too. here in Atlanta stings normally happen in hotels the LE like to be in control of the setting. but sometimes happens at providers place but not often.. Here they normally charge the provider with massaging without a license or escorting without a permit. Atlanta is one of those rare city's that reqs a permit to escort. an arrest is much easier because no talk of sex is needed to make the arrest here. You rarely hear of a prostitution arrest but mostly arrested for escorting without a permit. I know of 6 arrested off the craiglist in 2009 all charged with escorting without a permit & massaging without a license

Ok... So this dude wasn't a cop but had to ask him for ID because he looked his age (he IS 18) and he's still in high school. The reason why he was acting so weird is because this really was his first time with a guy, lol. He really cute and his dick was massive and he came a lot. Rule of thumb, "You give me $$$ and then you #insert sex act#?" is the exact type of question you get from a cop. For us it is something like "What are your services?" Escort answers. "And your rates are...?"
