Really didn't know who he was till I just saw him on a talk show. Gorgeous with a great personality. Super to see another "middle aged" star being so desired after!!!

Oh c'mon, guys. Doesn't anybody else watch Mad Men? I've been a fan of Jon's and the show for several years now. It's a terrific series with great characters, a pot line that rings true, and nobody ever consults the studio audience for them to have their input on who should be voted out of the ad agency - TV as in the good old days.

is it on cable or regular??.....people have mentioned to me it's a good show.....my TV is mostly a vehicle for netflix stuff these days, as regular TV sucks (except for "Mad Men", apparently)

Thanks, seeker.... I don't watch Mad Men or hardly any other TV programs... I do watch a lot of PBS, as I can't stand all the ads on the regular channels. I used to watch HBO, STARS, and some other channels, but don't have time for them anymore either. I do recognize Jon Hamm, thanks to seeker, and agree he is a hunk, but would need to see "more of him" to "make a judgement"....

I don't watch broadcast or cable, but when the buzz about a series is good, I wait for the season DVD release, and I've been through all the seasons of Mad Men. It is a fabulous show, and Hamm is beyond the sexiest middle-aged man you could ever want. Totally fabulous. The series depicts life in a Madison Avenue advertising agency in the 1960s with lots of startling period detail - women are treated lit peons, everybody smokes up a storm, every executive's office has a bar and they start drinking as soon as they arrive in the office for the day. Veterans of that period swear that it isn't particularly exaggerated. Like dipping into a different age. And several of the male regulars on the series are jaw-droppingly handsome. Of course, if you view the DVD's there are no commercials. I believe it is also available easily through netflicks.

Well Okie and JT Both have a now Retired Working Guy Friend in Chicago who is as Goodlooking as Hamn with a Gorgeous Body to go with the looks!

 

Who decided to go into another Profession....Watching "Mad Men" does remind me of him...;)

Well Okie and JT Both have a now Retired Working Guy Friend in Chicago who is as Goodlooking as Hamn with a Gorgeous Body to go with the looks!

I always wanted to hire Mark. On the other hand he didn't have the best phone-side manner.

Yes--but if the attitude on the phone is such that it actually precludes a meeting--then phone conduct is important. Plus--while obviously an escort can change his mind on what he will or won't do--I had called Mark--to see if he would bottom for a weekend appointment--he said yes. Then I call a few weeks later to see about actually setting it up--he's decided he no longer bottoms. Obviously , while I'm over it now :p (yeah right), at the time it was very upsetting.

On the other hand - better to find out he doesn't bottom BEFORE hiring than have him change his mind AFTER you bring him in for a weekend.

WTF!!!!!!!!!

 

I started talking about Jon Hamm, beauty and brains, and now all of a sudden there is someone named Mark being castigated for unspecified behavior.

Well from what I have heard and seen of his pics over the years Mark had (and probably still has) "beauty and brains" as well... so I guess that's the connection!

 

Plus, he was a fantasy for me that never materialized... so Gman... don't feel so bad that you never were able to make that connection...
