I find myself staying up later than I should glued to Chess with Friends. And Angry Birds is a great way to pass time waiting for the subway. There are a lot of excellent free games for the iPad.

I've never played games on my iphone but for A year I was obsessed with farmville on facebook. I went from level 1 to level 150 in one year and with over 350 million in coins.

I stopped once I knew I couldn't really go any higher in the game and with that many coins none of my neighbors would ever catch up or pass me and the challenge was gone and I stopped playing

Oh Lordie!!! hahah, I refuse to download or even try to play those games, even if it's because I'm bored & have time to kill. I don't want to get addicted and not be able to say no!

Just when I thought I could put down Angry Birds on my Motorola Xoom, I bought an iPad which has a completely different Angry Birds!

I am easily addicted to games and so I have not even looked at Angry birds. There is a free game called Spider Solitaire. It is a card game with two decks of cards. it seems there is always a solution to each layout and the game gives you the option of replaying a game Each night after work, I usually play one game before I leave. I play it over and over again until I have found a solution. The other day it took me six hours to complete one game. The area of my brain which controls time perception must be turned off by playing this game because I do not notice the time passing at all. I do get a strange sense of accomplishment when I see the fireworks at the end of a game indicating game completion but fortunately I still have the willpower to say no to a second game.

My entire family and I are addicted to Words with Friends. As I travel frequently for work, I find it a fun and easy way to spend some time, share messages, and "connect" with younger nephews and neices. On the plus side, we have both taught each other many words from our vocabulary not known by the other. Sign of the generation gap!
