Come on guys the NFL playoffs are in full swing and not a word about them? Out of all the posters here I find it hard to believe no one is interested. Are we a bunch of queens or are we real men into manly things :) .

Well, even though we are partially through the playoffs here is my prediction for the two Superbowl teams:

San Francisco (you have to love them, they represent our 'gay' homeland and Oakland. Yep a all California Superbowl ... that will make the networks happy :p . BTW Oakland will win :( .

Who do you feel will be in the Superbowl?

Huey,

I have often wanted to post remarks about sports because I am an avid fan. As for the Queen thing, I don't even rank as a princess wanna be yet. This past summer, baseball kept me alive. I watch the Dodgers and was in hog heaven when the Angels cleaned everyone's clock (with apologies to all my new friends in NY). Lakers are a bit of a disappointment this year and as I have two brothers in Sacramento, you can imagine the rivalry and heated phone calls. The college bowl games were mostly blowouts, but the game between Miami and Ohio was incredible! Nice to see USC make a comeback this year. As I reply I am listening to the Cleveland-Pittsburgh game and look forward to the game later today. Would love to chat sports on this board once in a while. Found myself watching gymnastics the other day. You gotta love how those boys pump up and their strength in such small compact bodies!

And college wrestling! well, don't get me started. The post the other day about the gaiety dancer who has a wrestler's body, I wanted pics ya know? Anyway, not sure about the superbowl. After yesterday it's going to be hard to write off Atlanta with that guy Vick. He is something to watch. Never saw a quarterback who could move like that. Will be intersting to see.

Is this the kind of reply you were looking for or do I have to go back and check the manual on how str8 guys talk?

I'm a big sports fan too, especially baseball and football. I am truly enjoying watching the Browns and Steelers game and hope the Browns hang on and win. After all as Deadskins fan, we haven't had much to cheer about the last few years. In the NFC I think the Eagles will be in the super bowl as McNabb is back as an added dimension to a team that continued to win without him and McNabb can hold his own with Vick. I think the AFC is a real tossup as it has been all season, but due to home field advantage and tough play after a midseason slump, I'll have to go with the Raiders ;( However, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Titans who have played great after a slow start or the Jets who are hot at the right time.

The one superbowl I have always wanted to see was one between the Chiefs and Redskins, my two favorite teams. I can just see all the self-anointed pc police on that one. :7

I really don't understand why more gay men are not interested in sports...if you don't enjoy the game you can always enjoy looking at the men...football players really show some beautiful ass!

Seriously I love football, swimming and diving, track and field and used to love basketball until they started wearing bloomers.I'm old enough to remember short shorts as tight as they could squeeze into :7 :p

During the football season, I bleed Giants blue. I ordinarily don't acknowedge the existance of the Jets, but this year I'm openly rooting for them. I want a Giants/Jets Superbowl this year.

I still live in my hometown and I attend most home highschool football games. (I graduated more than 25 years ago.) I've only recently started to acknowledge (socially) several str8 colleagues who graduated from one of my highschools biggest archrivals. (Some of us have worked together for over 15 years.)

During the baseball season, I bleed Met blue and orange.

I recently discovered minor league baseball. (There's a least a half a dozen teams in New Jersey.) In many ways minor legue baseball is much better than the pros. It's cheaper. (You can get good seats for less than 20 bucks.) The player are more enthusiastic and aren't afraid to interact with the fans.

The tighter the uniform, the higher my interest. The Mets uniforms suck. The Yankees have the tightest ones, but there are others as well (Texas comes to mind).

Now if Les is as good as I think he is, he will find a hot pic of a tight baseballl butt in uniform to post before spring training!:p

Huey.... it's not like that at all!

My entire life revolves around athletics, and I spend a HUGE chunk of time with jocks and jock wannabes.

Those conversations are nothing but sports related, and not one person brings up the topic of how hot Tom Brady is, or how cute Jeff Bosche's ass is, or how much fun it would be to fuck Andy Roddick!

So it's not that I don't care who wins the Super Bowl...

It's just that I really do have other priorities when I come for a discussion on this board! LOL :9

I have plenty of str8 friends who aren't into sports. Personally, I just don't have the time or interest to "follow" any particular sport. I did keep track of the Cubs when I lived just a few blocks from Wrigley Field, but mostly so I'd know when NOT to go out because of the traffic. ;-)

While I don't "follow" the sport, you can't blast me away from the TV when Men's gymnastics are on. Those poor deformed boys with their flat stomachs and big arms & chests are just unreal!

Basketball was fun until the shorts got so baggy. Football is a bit of a drag because there's so much padding hiding what's really under that uniform.

If I had to pick one, baseball would still be my sport. The uniforms are still pretty "showy", and you can cruise the hot, near-nekkid fans in the stands between plays. }(

Sorry Justice, since the Giants just blew it big time against the 9ers. They were up 38-14 and lost 39-38.

As an avid Redskins fan, I'm crying huge tears for you. Really, I am. ;(

NOT! }(

I think the Philthy Eagles will represent the NFC (I'm rooting for Atlanta), and the AFC could go any way. The Jets are streaking, the Titans are hot, Oakland is a force, and you can't count Pittsburg out.

That's the way I felt about swimming until the advent of these one piece body suits made Speedos almost obsolete. When will they ever learn - if it ain't broke...... don't fix it!

I LOVE your allegiance to the Skins! :) However, let's not stomp on the feelings of our poor, poor pitiful NFC East rivals fans, unless, of course, we are are talking about the Cowboys, in which case feel totally free to drown them with Golden Showers while crying crocodile tears! Even though I am a DIEHARD REDSKINS FAN, I was rooting for the Giants today and I am rooting for the EAGLES (after all 1/3 of their team are former Redskins - Jesus how could they let Brian Mitchell go to the Eagles?). I am sick and tired of hearing about the weak NFC East division. After all, except for the Packers, who else played in a weaker division in the entire NFL this year than the 49ers? The 49ers should have lost today (I just knew that somehow the Giants would fumble that last snap on the field goal attempt) and the 49ers will IMO get their butts kicked next week by Tampa Bay. This will set up a replay of last year's playoffs, with the same result, the Eagles beating the Bucs in Philly.

BTW, I root for two teams every week, the Redskins and whoever is playing the Cowboys. I wonder how this fan who bleeds Giants blue, God bless him for being loyal to his home team, feels about Parcells coaching the Cowboys? Talk about feeling betrayed! I give the Jones/Parcells marriage about as much longevity as the Nicholas Cage/Lisa Marie Presley alliance. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS as I know we'll be in the playoffs next year!

Trivia question for my fellow Redskins fans: The Eagles one and only appearance in the super bowl was in 1980 when boohoo Dick Vermeil was the coach. Who did they lose to? Hint: the team they lost to is in the AFC playoffs this year, so we could see a rematch.

>Who did they lose to?

The Raiders! :)

I'm still somewhat happy the Giants lost, even though it was to the Whiners. And I'm rooting extremely hard for the Fecals....er, Eagles to lose. The only team I hate more than the Eagles are the Cowboys. And my hatred for the Eagles is growing exponentially, so it might take over my Cowpuke hatred one day. They have the most vile fans in the entire NFL, if not all of professional sports; they are some of the most detestable people I have ever seen in my life. x(

JH, I really like this idea, and thought the same as you. Jason Seahorn is definitely one of my favorite pro athlete hunks! Just imagine how great it would be to be bisexual and get to hook up with Jason and Angie together (talk about a hot fantasy!). I really like sports regardless of the sexual aspects, and first realized that I was different (although I didn't know what homosexuality or for that matter what any kind of sexuality was) when I was 8 yo and plastered my bedroom wall with Rocky Colavito baseball cards! I guess I am so sterotypically gay as my favorite olympic sports are gymnastics and figure skating.

Based solely on the sexiness of the uniforms and the hunky sexuality of the athletes, I would rate my favorite sports as:

1. Gymnastics - HOT HOT HOT!

2. Baseball

3. Wrestling (classic Greco-Roman not the WWF)

4. Figure ice skating

5. Swimming/diving/water polo

6. Bicycling

7. Beach volleyball

8. Soccer

9. Tennis

10. Football

11. Basketball (of course this would be higher if they still

wore the tight, high rise shorts of the past)

12. Ice hockey - really masculine "rough trade" types but the

uniforms are so padded and baggy that they are totally sexless

Golf and bowling are not even worth mentioning and there is not enough national exposure to lacrosse, rugby, archery etc. to form an opinion.

A poll of opinion on who are the hottest guys in each sport would be very, very interesting, not to mention a real hodgepodge as everyone is attracted to different types. Picking just one from each sport my choice is:

1. Baseball - Luis Gonzalez of the Arizona Diamondbacks but a close

second would be Ichiro Suzuki of the Seattle Mariners

2. Football - Rich Gannon of the Oakland Raiders with Jason Seahorn

of the NY Giants a close second

3. Soccer - David Beckham

4. Basketball - Grant Hill with Kobe Bryant a close second and Allen

Iverson coming up fast on the outside

5. Ice Hockey - T. Feodorov of the Detroit Red Wings

6. Tennis - Andre Aggasi

7. Boxing - Oscar DeLa Hoya

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Are We Not Men?

Personally, I was far more interested in the start of Pac 10 college basketball, the Orange Bowl game, the last quarter and two over times of the Fiesta Bowl and have only been paying the most minimal attention at the play offs.

I agree with Deej, gymnastics is very interesting and features very attractive boys and men in play. Unfortunately, a great of the professional ball teams give the appearance they are calling in their performances, whereas the college ball teams, in any sport, seem more involved and interested.

I will pay attention to who is in the Super Bowl but it is highly unlikely I will watch it.
