What Percentage of Posted Photos Appeal To You?

Most often when someone posts a photo in the Fetish section or the gallery, it is intended to be a photo of someone hot.

At least it is in the mind of the poster. So I wonder if there is something off in that many of the photos either leave me cold or less than excited.

Am I still gay? I have read that we are only attracted to, at most, ten percent of the men we see. That's probably good, except that for me the percentage is less.

I know what I like and that is what I like. You can post hundreds of pix of guys that you like and it will not make me like them anymore. Another side of it is that personality

plays a big part in attraction for me, and a photo often cannot show much of that.

 

Most of us are drawn to youth, at least in the still athletic and fit range. I am not referring to underage youth. For me, hairy white men are (almost) automatically ruled out.

The only reason I can come up with for that is that I am a hairy white man and I have been surrounded by them. So a smooth Asian or Latin does wonders for me. And a smile.

Well, obviously there are people with various amounts of overall libido or sex drive. Most of this is probably related to total and free testosterone levels in the blood. I once, while working in a fertility lab, had my testosterone level taken by a pooled sample from three different blood draws (testosterone levels can change from minute to minute), and it was on the high end of normal. Gym showers during Junior High School and High School were like hell for me, because one sight of a handsome naked guy had an involuntary effect on me which would be about as easy to hide as the leaning tower of Pisa. The question of "Am I gay?" is totally nonsensical from my perspective, because, aside from the overwhelming and unmistakable emotional feelings I get seeing a handsome guy, the physical response is so obvious, it would take a completely blind person not to figure it out. In school, I basically had to stare at the floor, run to the showers, turn on the cold water, then run back and try to get my pants on as quickly as possible.

While I can't say I find a majority of men overall to be sexually stimulating, the selection of men whose pictures are posted in the Gallery is obviously not a random sample. I would estimate that I would willingly have sex with 80% of the men pictured in the gallery, and would pay for sex with about 70% of the men pictured in the gallery (varied amounts to be sure). Unless you have some fairly strong fetishes and/or unusually long list of things about guys which turns you off, if you find MOST of the guys pictured in the Gallery unattractive, it may be worthwhile getting a basic workup with your doctor to make sure everything's OK.

The only attribute guys can have which consistently turns me off is obesity. I'm also generally not particularly fond of guys of northeast Asian ancestry, subsaharan African ancestry, or bald guys, but there are certainly exceptions within those categories. Contrary to Hornywells, I am NOT a face guy. I find attractiveness in a face that isnt perfect and beautiful. I have always claimed to be a man who likes SIZE, which for me takes precendence.

 

I have a broader range to if a guy is a bit Beefier, or a bit skinnier, but Hung, thats OK. I have learned to always try and find something about a guy that turns me on if it isnt the entire package. About 10 years ago, I finally decided after two years of mourning my wife that I would start looking to date. I do enjoy muscles... and enjoy looking at them... but there is a point where it becomes overdone and a caricature ... and especially the overly steroidal types.
