At the 20 Club and Adonis events we knew him as "Spencer from Atlanta". Not only did he have a perfect body but he had a personality to match. I was truly sadden to learn that this young and popular dancer had passed away this weekend. Spencer had danced at clubs in NY, Atlanta, and Florida. My thoughts are prayers go out to his family, friends, and fellow dancers. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Im very sorry to hear this bad news. I worked with Spencer last year when i was with Tim at the club in Brooklyn. My prayers go out to his family. I know how it feels

to suddenly lose a dancer, we lost steve a popular dancer that worked in Fire Island, and at The lounge in New Hyde Pk, and another dancer Mike, who worked at the Bunkhouse

You become family to some of these guys. Spencer rest in peace!

Thank you for posting the pictures of this beautiful young man. Another one gone in the same week. It is so difficult sometimes to comprehend the loss. The lesson, if there is one, is just live each day to the fullest. Tomorrow will take care of itself. As I light a candle for Roman, I will light another one over the mantel for Spencer as well. I get the sense that you knew him. I am sorry for your sadness Cooper...Be well my friend, BVB

The world of dancers is very complicated. When you get to know these guys you come to realize there is a real person in there. They are more than sex objects for one's amusement. Spencer was a sweet guy and it's truly sad for someone to die so young.

I've been dreading writing this email since receiving word of the untimely passing of Adonis dancer Spencer, but far more importantly my friend and a truly remarkable young man. I sit here in tears as I write this, but know Spencer would have approved, as he was very open about his work as a dancer in the gay scene. For those who were lucky enough to have met him, they understand what an honest and respectable man he always was. I have many fond memories of working with Spencer over the last 2+ years. We grew into good friends and he was one of a very small group of guys who I trusted completely, enough so that I turned to him on more than one occasion to run things for me when I had emergencies. He never hesitated and dropped what he was doing to look out for me. That's the kind of guy he was. His physical attributes were obvious and striking, overshadowed only by his honesty and character as a man. We lost a very special person Sunday morning. I'm honored and grateful I had the chance to cross paths with Spencer.

This week's shows will be dedicated to Spencer's memory. I know he would appreciate it, be amused at all of it, and crack a joke...I've contracted a well known NYC portrait artist to paint a portrait of Spencer to be given to his family on behalf of the many friends he has touched. A collection jar will be at the door this Wed and Sat for donations to be allocated towards the cost of the painting. Anyone not able to attend a show, but interested in donating, just email me and we'll figure it out.

It is almost incomprehensible ... a young man who obviously took great care of his physical presence has suddenly passed. While fascinated with his appearance, it is so easy to forget that he was a real person, with a real life, real joys, real issues. I hope that Spencer, his family and friends will find Peace.

The passing of anyone as young vibrant and beloved as Spencer is a real tragedy no matter what the cause. As a recent past member of the Club 20 Posse, I knew him a bit and had enjoyed his charms and talents. Perhaps all who mourn his loss can take just a bit of solace in one of life's bitter ironies: the measure of our discomfort and grief is the opposite of our measure of the stature of the one lost. In which case, Spencer was one hell of a guy! Peace to his soul and to those he loved and loved him!
