Hey guys,

Most escorts I know have two phones, one for personal use and one for business. For that matter, this is not unique to escorts. I'm curious what types of phones you have for each capacity, and what you would do if you could start again from scratch. Two iPhones? Two Androids? One of each? A smart phone and a simple "dumb" phone?

I'm moving across town and the service with my current carrier sucks in the new location, so I'm switching carriers and getting two new phones. Currently I have a Blackberry and a dumb phone, and feel very behind the times.

I have an iPhone and Google voice. Having two separate phones seems like a waste of money when I can call or text from my phone via email or the Google voice app and maintain privacy. I would try that before spending the money on another phone account. If it doesn't work, then look at the 2-phone thing then.

I used to do the 2-phone deal, one was a nice, personal phone; the other was a go-phone from Boost Mobile with "internet capabilities". I must admit that the Boost mobile had terrible service, reception, internet was slow, couldn't email, texts were ridiculous to send/receive. It was a nightmare.

....then one day I had an epiphany, use Google Voice and tether it to my iPhone. That's perfect, great service, maintains privacy, etc. I highly recommend it, and it's free, has a separate ability for contacts to be kept different from your personal data.

Nate, there's another option if you use Verizon. I learned this from a "friend" I met in DC :p You need two Verizon phone numbers, then just set your "work" number to call forward to your private number. Set your work number up as a contact so that work related calls will show on your screen as coming from that number, or give it a different ring tone. You only have to carry one phone.

Three phones: One for Family and emergencies, one for business USA national and one for Business international. The international line has low rates and global coverage but suck in the states. The USA line has great cell reception coverage in US but terrible overseas rates and global plan~

I am waiting for the new "smarter" phones to come out in a few months. (If they actually do??? Those of you who were waiting for the Bionic know what I am referring to~).

For some countries, I purchase their specific SIM card and use that... Cheap-ish and easy-ish... Do-able anyways and semi convenient~? It's like cutting out coupons and shopping at different stores to git the best bargains~ Ain;t there a Bed Bath and Beyond of cell phones out there??? I WANT COUPONS THAT NEVER EXPIRE DAMN IT~!!!

Honestly.. I don't seem to have much use of "phone" service of any kind~ Most people text me and the next line of communication is email~ It's very rare that I get actual phone calls from family, friends or Clients~

AT&T has awful phone service but decent rates over seas, (kind of), and I can get texts and emails easily on that line~ What is your experience with them?

I prefer Verizon though. It's just their global plan and over seas rates absolutely SUCK~!!!

New "Smarter" phones have dictation, can synch with the upcoming X-box tech, you can cloud or hard line synch, almost don't need to carry around a computer anymore after these newer phones come out..

Until we refuse the bland choices... our choices remain as they are presented to us?

Honestly, I'd like to hear from others about ways to dump the cell tech altogether and utilize some other force of communication that does not become obsolete in three months time~ i'm opting out of Lovew vibes and tin cans with strings attached... maybe something of a compromise?

  • 2 weeks later...

I have two phones, a personal one for friends and family and a "working phone". I have two iphones, my working phone is my previous contract phone. When I upgraded to an iPhone 4, I put the "working phone" sim card into my old iPhone 3, so I have the best of both worlds. I pay £30 a month for my iPhone 4 which includes 1200 free minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data, I can upgrade it every 18 months for free. My working phone is a sim only deal with no new phone upgrade but it's only £10 a month for 500 minutes, unlimited text and 500mb data, more than enough for me.

Using my previous contract phone as my new working phone each time gives me 2 relatively new phones all the time.

  • 5 years later...

I own an iPhone 6s and an iPhone 7. If I could do it over, I would have purchased the second phone immediately after my ad went up. I disliked having to message previous. Liners and potential clients that I had a new number. It was also a bit tricky to configure the two phones since I used the same Apple ID. My contacts were synced initially and both phones would ring when called. I called Apple, and they walked me through the confusion.
