You're asking two questions, highest money earner and greatest of all time. Money does not always equal greatest.
A Quantitative versus Qualitative measure, for certain. But The BEST QUALITY I ever had was FREE.

As for highest money earner, I think from all their postings, the escorts that travel the most and advertise about all the fancy hotels and adventures they've been on (i.e., Ben Nicholas) must earn the most. I'm just guessing. The more important question is how much of that money they keep?
I suspect the deep pockets, closeted+down low+fabulously wealthy might just have a stable of men, well kept, and barred from advertising to the common folk.

$1 million sounds like a lot but these days that would earn you about $35,000 a year before taxes in any legitimate investment that was SAFE! Of course, it would earn a lot more invested in riskier ventures but then there is that RISK factor to consider.
How about you give me a $1 Million and I'll figure out a way to stretch it over the next 50 years... I think I might be able to do it, and I'll get more than $35K per annum out of the principal.

In 1972, I was hitchhiking home from campus and was picked up by a middle aged man who proceeded to try and seduce me. He asked some innocent enough questions and then he asked if my girlfriend ever "cleaned my pipes". He then offered me $50 to "do me" while I drove his car. I needed the cash and had never had a blow job from a man and was curious, so I said yes. We changed places and I drove as he blew. After a minute or so he complained that his back was hurting but I was bound and determined to get off, so I grabbed his bald head and held it down on my cock until he got me off, unloading in his mouth. I believe I was going about 80 MPH when I exploded. As I regained composure, I drove to my house and asked for my money. He said he only had $20 so I took the $20 and as I left, he offered to take me back to a hotel for $100. I declined. I never got paid for sex again and I did not have sexual contact with a man again for about 30 years after that. So my total escort income $20. I am still hoping for a second customer.

Oh, PK, you know that $20 would be like $2,000 today! But seriously, did you go to the University of Florida in the 80's? I was tooling up I-75 past Gainesville and there was this cute as hell college guy standing at the top of the on-ramp with a six-pack of beer. I picked him up, we shared the beers and blew each other before I dropped him off a block from home. School breaks became standing dates after that until he graduated. I'm not a Gator fan, but I love Gator cock...

Tell them Johnny Wadd is here...

Since most escorts are admirably discreet about their incomes, Im not sure how anyone could feasibly know which escort is the all-time highest earner. Perhaps this is more of a rhetorical question? Regardless, Mikey, I hope you are not still earning the same annual income that you earned 11 years ago. If so, it's time to give yourself a raise!

Goodfella

Mikey PhD, surely it is you making $125-275K / year???

Give yourself a raise Bro! You can beat Aaron Westin to Johnny Wadd Holmes!

great answers guys! The sugar daddy answer is good because that is a HUGE part of the biz. Actually after my second, "retirement," that was the situation I found myself in. In fact it had alot to do with my second retirement. The client asked me what I made in a year so I told him and he offered to match it plus a new car, a killer crib on the beach and amazing clothes. I truly liked the guy and the sex was amazing so I enjoyed my kept boy days. Ultimately I have trouble with monogamy which is usually a pre-condition to be a kept boy so I got back in the biz. I like variety and, to be honest these days, I ENJOY THE THRILL OF THE GAME! jj- no, not really, I know i am not even close to #1. That is rare I know, Mikey being humble but it is a fact! There is that underground non advertising group out there. I have met a few of these guys over the years when they have reached out to me to do a 3-way with their SUPER CLIENT. HOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! Yes, guys who would put any advetising rentboy to shame. Personally, I found though that every one of these situations involved illegal drugs and cocaine was just one thing I would never do. too big a risk for me. As far as the money I think the economy was better years ago during Clinton times and early on in the Bush 2 years. Then I would get fly in overnights all the time. now you have to tour and touring is expensive. For me I have an average number over my 11 years. I am sure my measly little figure pales in comparison to the superstars and gods on here and in the shadows......as far as all time money winner is concerned I know in golf that is tiger Woods or tennis Roger Federer or nascar Jeff Gordon and if they are not the best at what they do they are close. Money does not make you the best, I agree. My confidence and pride says that during that hour, 2 , or overnight with me I am the best escort who has ever lived because I truly CARE about my clients and provide superior customer service. I think to be good you gotta know you are good but NOT HAVE AN ATTITUDE about it or an arrogance. NOw, in reality, I know I don't even come close to a guy like Mr. B. Steele. That is a fact. But in my mind I have to think I still got it. Repeat rate is how you know if you are still on top. When clients stop repeating with you it is time to move on. Fortunately for me that day has not arrived yet so I am going to continue this long ride as long as the wonderful clients keep booking. http://www.rentboy.com/mikey9nola1

The ANSWER to this question is really quite simple ...

But only others who are self - employed understand that reality ... making $$$ ... regardless of services offered and by that I mean I don't care if your a plumber / blue collar worker / a hip young new social media guru / a designer in any field / an architect or one of dozens of small businesses supplying that profession / a consultant or any of the myriad of other careers / jobs one can have being self employed. My experience runs the gammat with this right down to those operating franchises and dealer networks.

1 - nothing ever beats the security of knowing you work at place A for X number of hours weekly and each pay period you get a consistent payday based on an hourly rate or a salary (for some an annual bonus) another thread could be the predictable monotony of this process.

2 - the greatest luxury of self-employment for many is being able to set your own hours (when you want to work / play / sleep / fuck, etc)

3 - I have been self employed for more than 30 decades ... the long and the short of it ... every decade is fraught with peaks and valleys - there is NO such creature as consistent / predictable growth in a small business (fewer than 5 employees) or self employment with a few freelancers / subcontractors. I like millions of others who are self - employed have had years where I have said ... please let me have 3 or 4 more years like this and my life will be eternally grateful and then complex economic changes / client changes / management changes / trend changes / flavour of the month changes ... the list is endless suddenly catapult you into a year where you say ... OMG ... I may have to go out and look for a full time job ... such are the vagaries and unpredictability's of working on your own.

4 - Having hired, befriended and known many rentboys over the years ... the same realities apply

- some guys are just in it for a little extra spending money at the end of the day / week / month and turn an appropriate number of tricks

- some guys are in it to finish off their college degree and move on to a 'real' career

- some guys are in it to support a 'drug' habit or support something equally unsavoury

- some guys are in it because it is quick easy money at certain times in certain urban markets

- some guys are in it because they are searching for that sugar daddy or want to move in certain circles / functions / events

- some guys are in it because they are caught between a rock and a hard place and this is a viable temporary solution

- some guys are in it because they are con artists

- some guys are in it because they genuinely love what they do and are good at it ... this is a small group (I means lets call a spade a spade)

and the list goes on...

5 - as for the 'BIG' money earners ... show me a guy who has consistently performed for more than a 7 year window and responsibly balanced earnings with a well behaved lifestyle and actually managed to put away a chunk of that $$$ - that my friends is the shortest list of all !!!

I think I kind of understand this post. There ARE a few errors such as 30 decades which would be 300 years, a long time to be doing anything.:)

I have been self employed my entire working life but I have never been able to "set" my own hours or schedule. The truth is the whole world is my employer and I have always and continue to work 7 days a week. Perhaps that is just an extension of what I think is "fair and reasonable" and that is to deliver what I promised, each and every time. As I have often said to my clients, I offer millions of dollars worth of advice every day and periodically I have to "sell something" in order to pay the bills. :)

I completely agree that there are few guys in it because they love what they do and are good at it, but those few MIGHT be enough. :)

Best regards,

KMEM

I remember seeing a social website with Ben Nicholas name and for his income it listed between $150,000 and $$250,000 per year.

If benjamin has got other clients like me, I'm sure he does, then he's pulling in that much or more. Based on what I spend, he's got to be doing fine. It's worth every dollar.

I'm positive it is someone that has never ADVERTISED! But Traveled in the "Deep Pocket Word of Mouth Circles" for many year's!

There's also nothing to replace a Great "Sugar Daddy Income" for a few year's... Condo/Car/Travels

I could not agree more!!! I am pretty sure that the "biggest" guys are the ones you do not see on the internet and/or do not advertise at all. Maybe I could also say: Openly gay rich millionaires boyfriends... yes, they were never escorts but that is kind of what they do... being with old(er) man for "some" financial/career help in return.

Assuming he was under 40 years of age, I don't think $1 million will carry him through to 80 unless he gets another job. I wouldn't advise him to go into real estate, at least not in the USA.

I always figured if I came into a cool million, I'd put roughly 50% into blue chips that pay dividends in the 2.5% to 4% range with a history of annual dividend increases, then 45% or so into utilities and such that pay off in the 4% to 6% range and then put the remaining 5% or so into riskier stocks.

In making mention of Ware as a "contender", I excluded consideration of those lads in "paramour" situations. If you find LA on your calendar in the future, do not hesitate to book Kyle Gibson, and, make request of him to view the ring given to him by a recently deceased member of a deposed Near Eastern ruling family as it is a "stunner".

How often do u see Kyle Gibson? Is it like every week? He's tagged as straight guy! And it seems u know him so well, I feel like u work for him and play like a "manager?" or "handler?" you've nourished a relationship that is beyond "escort and client" thing because u know all these personal things regarding him and other clients of him.

Damned if I do and damned if I don't. . .I have had his acquaintance from the time he came to market at the age of eighteen as "Kev Boy". I have a good, professional relationship which does not lend itself to "management" or "pimping". Given that he has always given excellent service in his professional capacity as "escort", I do make remark on those occasions when he is maligned in these forums. Lastly, I have no reservations in recommending him as a "first-class" experience between the sheets and in the light of the day.

Decatur, that seems sound, but unfortunately, even "blue chip" stocks are not gauranteed. Just 10 years ago, all these were considered blue chip stocks, all paying nice dividends at the time: Kodak, American Airlines, Citibank, GM, etc.

I've mentioned it here before, but there's a great little book called The Elements of Investing, modeled after Strunk and White's The Elements of Style. It doesn't tell you a single thing you don't already know, but reminds you of the fundamentals and takes some of the anxiety out of financial planning in a very non-threatening way. It also lists several specific mutual funds and ETFs that adhere to the principles the book commends to you.

For many years I have felt most comfortable with a large percentage of my savings in oil stocks. They pay dividends and seem best able, in theory and in practice, to weather the ups and downs of economic and political changes. As China, India and others industrialize, oil seems more secure than ever. When the economy is good, oil goes up. When there is political turmoil in the Middle East, oil goes up. With inflation, oil goes up. If the dollar goes down, oil goes up. Oil stocks do less well with recession, but continue to pay dividends which gives them something of a floor. It's not a perfect investment, but better than anything else I know. And I sleep better at night.

Peter makes an excellent point. Whether we call it ,"escorting," or not those type guys (and I was one of them so I am in a position to honestly speak) are in actual practice rentboys. They will never tell you that but if sugardaddy aka rich, older, non-hot bf, goes bust then let's see how long hottie stays around. One of the greatest traits a successful rentman has to have is an amazing talent to act. They act interested, they act aroused and THEY ACT LIKE THEY ARE IN LOVE. After a few years it became very hard for me to do and monogamy became impossible for me. I have always LOVED THE SEX with older men and never had trouble if they were out of shape but I have never been able to overcome my ADDICTION to CUTE hotties, twinks and chicken. I simply cannot give up 21-30 year old studs no matter how rich or powerful the sugardaddy is. In my experience they all demand monogamy and if they find out you are cheating then they start looking for another guy. This is brutal honesty from the front lines.........http://www.rentboy.com/mikey9nola1 "I am about the cock, not the clock!"
