Hey Rush, Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes. It's nice to see that someone else is not "rushing" the holidays...Yesterday I was in NYC and was walking up 5th Ave. The Christmas decorations are already in the windows of Macy's, Lord and Taylor's, Saks, etc... At Rockefeller Center you can see the tree being decorated, while ice skaters skate merrily in front of it. The whole area is decorated to the hilt and filled with shoppers who remind us that Christmas is only 5 weeks away...So thanks again for reminding us that giving thanks for all our blessings comes before the gift giving season. Happy Thanksgiving!

This is my favorite time of year Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years. Yes everyone is busy shopping, decorating and fornicating. I actually started early this year so that I wouldn't miss out on everything by being rushed. SO, I am so excited that I can give THANKS and really mean it this Thanksgiving. Knowing full well that I'm ready for the rest of the month and can fully realize my blessings for the rest of the year.

 

I love that Thanksgiving is first. It reminds me that everyday I should be thankful for what I have, feel, hear and see. SO, yes...I also would like to Thank everyone on this board and the board and everyone who reads the board for listening to me, appreciating me and satisfying me. Joking and jokes aside....You guys are what makes all of us contemplate and reaffirm or change our beliefs...hopefully for the better....

 

Sorry for the long banter. Happy Thanksgiving.

Well...if the escort of choice is me, I do hope they eat too much because I could get my ass eaten indefinitely. }( Also, I'm really thankful that my Lucy Gets a Paris Gown doll (complete with burlap dress & feedbag hat) arrived right on time from amazon.com. It's hysterical. (They need to make an Ethel, though).

Thanksgiving is my Favorite Holiday, not due to food, nor the much dreaded trip to visit Family, nor because it's the start of the Christmas Season (oops I guess that's Halloween now isn't it).

 

It's a time for me to actually Stop a moment in my hectic life and reflect on how truly Thankful I am that things are as well with me as they are. I have much to be Thankful for and it's a time to reflect on the Positive parts of life.

 

There have been many years when things were not so well with me but, I've always been able to find something to be Thankful for, even in those bleaker times. I've realized a long time a go even when Life is not so good, it can Always be worst.

 

Even though some will find this sappy... Here's wishing you ALL a truly Happy Thanksgiving.

 

Now I've got to find out which TV Channel to watch "Miracle on 34th Street"...the original with Natalie Woods of Course!
