Yes, but I for one enjoy reading what escorts have to say on this board and I'll wager that some other posters feel the same way. I know I am the voice in the wilderness here and have been called naive (I'm flattered that anyone could actually think that I was naive at this point in my life - optimistic maybe but naive, I don't think so) for counseling for more civility on the boards. But in the short time that I've been here as a lurker and then as a poster I have seen the number of escorts who regularly post here dwindle to a mere handful. What is the point of wielding all that rapier wit or those scathing putdowns that seem to get heaped on some of the posters? I do think that some guys here have some major issues with their lives not being what they wanted or felt they deserved, but I keep these thoughts to myself. What is the point of the negativity and the mean-spirited barbs that seem to wear down some of our posters here? After a while people tire of reading all the sandbox putdowns and decide to move on and off. We are all the poorer for their departures. Yes, you have the right to post anything (within reason) but those of you who claim to have a "need" to voice your opinions must have some other "needs" too, like see a therapist and work out your anger issues and frustrations. I think underneath my newly painted shingle for escort services I'm going to add therapist - the only problem there for me is I'm a problem solver and some guys just want to vent and not really change anything. The issue in this Thread is really a non-issue.. He wants to go, let him go.. I for one have heard enuf of his Rants.... the guy just needs to leanr how to take and handle criticism. Its a good life lesson and will serve him well.

Sorry to see you go, but certainly understand your thoughts about this. But, in this as in most of life, you always have to make a judgement about what is said about you, good or bad. Sometimes I have found that my critics have helped me grow, and at other times, their comments were worthless. I have also found the same thing with folks who have praised me for one thing or another. Sometimes it has been warranted and appreciated, and other times it was just bs for reasons I did not understand. I have enjoyed your contributions to the Forum, but respect your decision. I have been at the receiving end of a thread where person after person speculated about me and decided that I needed to be banned. I have seen rants directed against JJ , Bigvalboy , Rockhard and all of them have taken it like men and none of them have thrown tantrums saying they will never post again on this board. Each time I have criticised mikey I have explained my reasons. I note he started threads criticizing escorts like BMW and mikeyjock and the escorts concerned maintained a dignified silence and did not rave and rant about leaving the board altogether.

Every morning I get up. start the coffee pot, let the dog out and sit in my robe before I have to get going and read the headlines and then come here to read the posts and of course read the reviews.

 

I have read all 5 pages of this thread and for the life of me cannot imagine why we take anything written on here so serious that we get upset, throw a tantrum, have it throw our balance of life off and then have it ruin our day.

 

99% of us do not even know each other other than by our screen names. I dare say that if I passed almost all of you on the street I would have no idea who you are.

 

I have to be honest and say that I read these threads primarily for entertainment reasons and sometimes I learn something about an escort or a disease or an unsafe practice etc.

JB, you are probably right, but lets face it, EVERYONE does it. Its a very RARE individual that doesnt resort to these tactics to defend himself. Often you are driven to react in a way you wouldnt react normally. No excuses, just Fact. All the people here spouting righteous rhetoric are "as guilty" by their mere participation... Those truly without fault, are the ones that read and move on without commenting. Now what kind of a chat site would that make ?
