Many of you have expressed opinions over the last year about my pics in my ads. 99% have said they like the guy in the pics but that the pics were LOW quality, small or blurry. Well, I FINALLY got some good new pics taken on 11/11/11 and have posted them in my Rentboy (http://www.rentboy.com/mikey9nola1) ad and in my men4rentnow.com ad (m4rn id # 190508). They are also on rentmen and @ http://www.massagem4m.com/mikey9nola . The pics are big, clear, new and are shot with a new camera. I want to be able to say to all new and repeat clients that my pics are BRAND NEW and that the guy who shows up will ACTUALLY be the guy in the pics as he looks today not 5 or 10 years ago. Also: new screename on men4rent is Mikeyusa9 and on rentboy is mikey9naples. These names reflect the fact that I now live in South Florida full time instead of New Orleans. I respect the fact that you care enuf about your clients to update your photos for that "what you see is what you get" effect... However dude, I would really tone down the rhetoric and constant boasting about your looks and your size, etc, because the pic are not reflective of anything special. Mikey, here's ten tips for you (or anyone else) for taking better pics. Keep in mind, even Greek gods can take shitty pictures.

 

1 - take a LOT for the practice, and also so you'll have a bunch to choose from. And give yourself some time—you will almost certainly not be able to take set of good pics in 30 minutes or less

2 - ALWAYS use natural light, or varied light (sun/shadow) on your body and face. NEVER use fluorescent light, which makes you look washed out, and try to take at least one pic outside

3 - never just stand there as though you took a snapshot with your iPhone. Someone once told me a better word for "snapshot" is "snapshit," since they almost always look bad.

4 - don't make "sexy/oh-my-god-i'm-cumming face"

5 - smile in at least one pic, if you're showing face shots, and ALWAYS use a mirror when taking pics so you can see what you're doing

6 - do something active or interesting

7 - toss a blurry pic unless it's something interesting, like an action shot in the shower... someone just standing there blurry isn't interesting, and they end up looking amateurish

8 - find professionally shot pics online and practice those looks/positions, etc.

9 - don't use props, unless it's sheets, a pillow, or something contextually appropriate

10 - vary your clothing, stance, posture, b/w and color etc, and don't do the same thing or almost the same thing in every picture

 

Whether you're paying someone or taking them yourself—be critical and don't be afraid to say: "These don't reflect me well. I need to try again." Remember, you're making money from these pics, so take your time.

And while you may not be attracted to that type of guy, I for one appreciate the honesty. Inaccurate pics and deception on the part of escorts is rampant in the escort industry. It is a major problem. Almost everyday the guys here in the forum talk about escorts that are dishonest, stretch the truth, provide less than satisfactory services, and post pics that do not accurately represent who they are...It disgusts me!!

I think Zeyfurs reaction to Mikey is akin to YOUR reaction to Rockhard. There is something that rubbed Zey the wrong way and he is compelled to express it. Kinda like the way you did with Rockards posts about Fat people. Sure Zeyfurs post is more about appearance and Yours was about opinion, and BOTH have there place here. The fault most guys here have is that they feel only THEY are welcome to post what they want, and the things they comment on are more important than what other people comment on. so, ok, jj and Zephyr are RIGHT and THOUSANDS of Repeat and hundreds of Current REGULAR clients all over america are wrong. I have a flat ass, man boobs and an average dick. They are right.
