very suspicious. Do they read like the same person wrote them to you? One tip-off -- the use of the word "brutal" in every single review to describe his fucking.

And pretty much the exact same scenario plays out. What do you guys think?

I pretty much stopped reading after realizing the guy was NOT attractive to me. I really didnt care what kind of service he provided, but now that you mention it, I went back and re-Read, and you are right. Suspicious..... but not surprising to find suspicious reviews. I am often puzzled by the things that are written.

I'm not surprised when reviews reveal a scenario that's often typical. For instance, RoughScort often has a scene that plays out kind of the same and the reviews reveal that. But they are clearly written by different guys with different writing styles and the experiences do have some variety. And I can personally attest: The guy is for real and GREAT.

Each "review" for Marpar has that English-as-second-language sound, with expressions and tones of Greeks who know English.

I was just curious about the whole thing and wondered if other folks picked up on it. It won't ever affect me unless I found myself back in Europe (haven't been since 2002), but just found it odd.

I was wondering about this too. There is a sameness to the reviews - the tone of writing, the scenario as it happened, etc.

Exactly. Seems like the guy, if he lives in London, would have had ONE person write with a British or American flair. I think the guy is basically rehashing a fantasy client. Just can't believe all these different guys all write in the same style and had the same "brutal" fucking that was "sweet pain" and left their holes sore for days.

Another possibility for at least some of the sameness is clients echoing bits of previous revews they read prior to submitting their own. (Its not uncommon for a review to mention 'as previous reviewers have noted...', etc., indicating that they looked at them before writing their own.)

I do see some similarities of style & phrase in some, but others do seem different to me.

I just finished 8 hours of reading short papers by different writers on a single topic, so I wasn't inclined to read all his reviews really closely, but my impression is that, although a few reviews were written by the same person, there was such a range of styles and commands of writing conventions that I think most are by different clients. I think it is likely that many later clients read the previous reviews, and were not only influenced by what was said in them, but were also drawn to hire him because they were interested in having similar experiences to those of the earlier clients. I was struck by one review that said he had demanded an exorbitant sum of extra money in the middle of the appointment, to do something that hadn't been agreed to, but then settled for half that amount; that's not the sort of thing that any escort is likely to write about himself, or want a client to reveal. I don't think that his photos are the sort that would be likely to cause a lot of men to fantasize about him in detail, so I think the reviews were more likely what caused clients to hire him.

I'm not 100% sure it's faked. You and the poster above raise good points. I still lean toward made up.

Fifteen reviews and all but a couple written by first-timers and - guess what? - the couple of second-timers have done a previous review of the same escort.

He is based in London but has a very low profile here. I know there are a handful of escorts that work in London but concentrate on visiting Americans and use Rentboy (probably because they think the earnings are better) but I find it very strange that one escort with a low profile should generate quite so many reviews and that, effectively they all come from first-time reviewers.
