While my job is still in tact and I am working and collecting a pay check, my hiring profile has changed drastically. After a few disasterous encounters one after the other, I realized that I did not like throwing away good month on not so great encounters. This pushed me to be more picky and selective when deciding to hire.

 

Since I cannot host, any meeting either has to be done at the escort's place or at a hotel. The latter involved more expense (usually at least a one-night stay). I have discovered the hard way that cheap hotels mean what they say -- the rooms smell, plumbing is iffy, comfort is negligable and cleanlness of room leaves a lot to be desired. But if I decide to pay $175-$350 or more a night for a more reputable hotel chain, factoring in at least a dinner (with or without the escort), room snacks (eg water, juice, maybe a bottle of wine)... the tab is running up already.

 

Then you hire a guy who wants $300/hr -- and I usually hire minimally for 2 hours, so I absolutely do not even look if the entry first hour rate is over $250 (and I gravitate more to those charging $225 or $200 or less and hour or who have a special 2-hr rate, noting that in 95% of the cases, the escorts do NOT walk through the door, drop their pants, and stick their tongue down my throat; it takes a little time to get that far, usually 15-25 minutes, and if the guy is sweaty, an extra 10-15min for a shower... anyway this is why I hire for 2 hours.

 

In the last 4 or 5 months, I hired about 6 guys. Not one of them is a guy I would go back to for seconds, although two of them were quite interesting and fun but in general, the encounters were unsatisfactoy (I did not even bother cuming for either). I have not given up, but all in all now I do not even consider a guy who charges over $225/hr and have found - believe it or not - that I do much much better with a 90 minute massage from some great guys in NYC paying much less for the 90 minutes, getting totally relaxed and totally "emptied" if you get my meaning. You're right this is exactly what you don't understand. Simple: it's not all about the sex. To me, it's the difference between a prostitute and an escort. And to me, there is a world of difference between the two. Babe Ruth or American Legion baseball compared to the big leagues.

 

Yes, I could get, and have gotten, all the Free sex I could want. But I want more and I'm not going to get that out of some guy I meet through A4A, MH, M4SN, Squirt, Grindr, Growlr, FindFred, Gaydar or Craigslist. Wow, the rates (around 300) have not really increased for over a decade. It almost makes the current offerings in nyc a bargain!
