I just received an e-mail from Falcon--something about re-starting the Jocks line of films. So the new film they are promoting "Blind Lust" has Mason Wyler . Has Falcon used an HIV positive star in the past--or is this a first?

Even if they did testing it wouldn't mean much. I saw a news report a few weeks ago where they interviewed 2 former female porn performers. str8 porn company's req AIM testing like every 28 days or so. the performers pay for their own test. The thing is the test only shows a persons clean that day. A performer could test negative for everything on monday go out tuesday and catch Gonorrhea and pass Gonorrhea around for the next 28 days until its caught in the next AIM test.

Falcon never made the claim their performers are negative. The mainstream porn companies have long claimed that they use condoms so HIV transmission is not an issue for them.

my feelings are kinda mixed. like in masons case he is open about being HIV positive so in his case a person isn't exactly going in blindly. Since he is so open about it a person working with Mason knows the risk and accepts it. But there's others out there in the same business that aren't being as open about Their status. Condoms can break accidents can happen. And anyone working with these individuals has the right to know and make the choice if they want to work with them or not. For my opinions posted in this thread I'm not coming down on escorts or those in porn. I think its an issue everyone should be honest about. Me for example I have MS my body and system is already a wreck. I would never survive living with HIV on top of this. Regardless of the level of protection used I would not want to be with someone that's HIV positive. And yes I've told people I've met this. I tell people this b4 even going out, that way I don't feel like I'm wasting their time or mine. It's actually such a large concern I've only been with one person since my diagnoses of MS in 2008. A individual never knows what challenges or medical conditions the other party might be dealing with so I have very strong feelings regarding honesty on this issue.

not sure I know there was some issue with testing after a guy became HIV positive. He said the only contact he had was during some str8 porn shoots and gay shoots.

I think I recall the guy saying that aim insinuated that he became infected in his personal life which he denied. regardless a aim test only shows a persons okay the day the test is done. theres a number of stds that can me contracted between the next 28 days. it's not like they are testing b4 ever film shoot. I did some checking. AIM closed its offices and filed for bankruptcy in May 2011.

Deej..that is a good thing. Knew a couple of guys that used to work for AIM. Pretty shoddy and unsanitary operation as whole. The testing was done really half ass. I don't know if something has come along to replace it, but Aim was scandalous.

But when it comes to STIs, porn studios mirror the attitude that I and a lot of other gay guys share: if it can be cured or treated then who really cares?
