Rick Munroe for Mayor of Hooville

We've all watched in recent weeks how Rick Munroe has gently but firmly inserted himself ;-) into the political mor ass :o here on this site. I say it's time to appropriately recognize Rick's cumming out of his political closet :7 :

 

Fellow Hoovillians, I am here tonight to nominate Rick Munroe for Mayor of Hooville.

 

Rick has revealed his qualifications for this unique position :

 

* He has experience in making hard choices :9

* He doesn't just blow smoke :*

* He always keeps his eye on the ball :7

* He won't give us the shaft :-(

* He always cares about the bottom line }>

* He has tremendous support in our bedroom communities

 

At his side he will have a proven money manager, his Vice Mayor }> , Derek Ross.

 

There is already a long list of applicants for the position of Under Secretary :9 of Human Services ;-) .

 

I hope you all join with me in voting tomorrow for Rick Munroe for Mayor of Hooville.

 

In the end, we won't be disappointed :+ .

LOL I accept. Wouldn't it be funny if, during the election, instead of uncovering some sordid past (like escorting), it's revealed that before being a whore, I was a monogamous, non-circuit-party-attending 20-something vegetarian homebody? Wouldn't that be shocking (but true)?

 

Anyway...I've always been politically aware & active, and I always vote & encourage my friends to vote. And I feel that this election is too important for me to worry about whether or not discussing it will be good or bad for business. I'd rather lose a potential client than not express my fears about the ramifications of a Republican Senate!
