If you were starting a porn collection from scratch what would you buy who are best tops and bottoms working today and what movies would you recommend from the myriad out there and also stuff from back in the day.

 

I have bought a couple of Matthew Rush videos over the past few months and they have been ok but to be honest i dont 'get'porn at all i dunno maybe its me and i'm strange (actually.......)

I'm no expert, but I've been observing for the better part of 20 years.

 

99% of porn is and always has been mediocre to downright bad.

 

There are moments in porn videos that are so intense and *real* they will make you hold your breath. They are few and far between.

 

You might get a good list of the classics at atkol.com. That's where porn afficionados hang out.

 

Matt Rush is an absolute doll of a guy, when you meet him, but on video he always looks wooden and posed. (Probably because he *is*.) He hasn't turned in one of those take your breath away performances to date, at least not that I've seen. Sweet guy. I sure as hell wouldn't throw him out of bed. But there's nothing in his videography I'd recommend either.

 

If you want someone to recommend something, it would help to know what turns you on. A video I (or anyone else) likes just might not be your cup of tea.

I don't get porn all that much either. I own four videos and the only reason is that I've slept with the four guys. However, when I thought it was strange I didn't like porn more, I joined nakedsword.com where you can sample the stuff and find out what you like before making an investment. Marc is right. Definitely look into Kristen Bjorn's videos. Videography is great, the models are knockouts, and he gets those str8 guys to do stuff nobody else can get them to do.

Yes, I second Deej's suggestion. For my money, the best Bjorn videos are the early ones made in Brazil. Until I learned of your distaste for white men, I was going to suggest the early Colt tapes, which are now available as compilations. But even there you can find some swarthy types. I have a certain sentimental fondness for Bjorn's CARNIVAL IN RIO. He filmed it during the 1987 Carnival, interspersing the sex episodes with scenes of the cast members being involved in the actual parades. As it happens, the samba school featured, Salgueiro, is the one I paraded with that year. An unforgettable experience. I wasn't aware of Kristen Bjorn back then, but years later, when I first saw the video, there was certainly a thrill of recognition when I saw the unit in which I was parading as part of the video.
