Rentboy Problems?

Anyone else having problems with Rentboy? For me it's loading very slowly if it loads at all.

When looking through the listing last night I would get to a certain page and then instead of going to the next page, would bring up the sorry screen that ad is no longer active and take me back to page 1. Couldn't access some pages at all, even by going to it direct.

I seem to be getting to pages ok but there are error message in spaces where there should be ads, and none of the escort pix on their ads are displaying.

Is Rentboy just too ad heavy? Do the ads cause the problems?

I'm having the same problems. They are now offering "enhanced" features if you sign up. Signing up doesn't help. I suspect they set up the new, "improved" model, didn't check it well, and now it's not working.

I dunno, I debate taking myself off Rentboy, it seems to me most of my interest comes from M4RN anyway...

Both M4RN and Rentboy have their good and bad points. The main reasons I like RB are the large pictures--yes I know you can enlarge the pictures on M4RN, but they never seem quite as large and detailed even when the pictures are the same ones on RB--and #2 M4RN infuriates me with their keeping expired ads on the site to pad a city's escort list. So if you can afford to from my view I hope you keep your ad on RB.

 

Oh and there is some kind of trouble today--pictures were not appearing in the ads at least 2 hours ago.

Yup, it's clearly a continuation of the same problem. They may fix it over the weekend, but do yourself a favor, avoid the headache, and hold off til Monday before trying to place your ad again.

Yeah, escorts should demand compensation from rentboy about this. For example, as a horny client in Atlanta on a Saturday night, I turned to rentboy, uhhh.....errrrr...nope. A horny man needs visuals, so I had to turn to m4rn where I made my choice and hire for the evening. So this is a testimony from a client, a rentboy lost biz to a m4renter because of the website screw up.

Checked a couple of minutes ago and still no pics.

After a few minutes if you stay on the page the pics show up. Certainly the time lag is unacceptable but if you are in a hiring mood and want to see pics then just wait about 3 to 5 minutes

Luckily for us clients, the old pictures aren't bad at all. I could certainly stare at them for a few hours.
