Real Italian pizza from scratch, from the dough to the cooking in 6 minutes at 550 degrees directly on a baking stone, no pan, it comes out pretty much like in Italy in a brick oven, delicious!

And a real Italian lasagna with a recipe from a fantastic and easy website, with authentic bolognese sauce and bechamel sauce. Mmmmmm!

I like to cook, and also like spicy heat, so I do a lot of Asian dishes. Recently I have gotten into Ethopian cusine and love it. Kitfo, Lamb tibs, or Doro Wat anyone?

So I'd like to add to this thread now...and thanks to the other posters who gave me this idea!!

Could you POST a picture of your favorite DISH? Maybe from the web if you haven't made it in a while... Remember we're looking for the favorite "dish"..it doesn't matter how BIG the dish is...well I was told that once.

oh here's the recipe for my mac n cheese

Mac n cheese

Ingredients (make a 9 x 9 inch pan)

3 cups macaroni, uncooked

2 eggs

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 1/2 cups milk

salt & pepper

paprika (optional)

1 cup smoked gouda cheese, shredded (a must)

4 oz. cubed velvetta cheese

1 cup sharp cheddar (can use less if you don't like a sharp taste in your mac n cheese)

1 cup colby & monteray jack, shredded (cheese blend)

Preheat oven to 350

Step 1.) Cook macaroni until al dente. (Look on the back of the box to see how long you need to cook your pasta for it to reach al dente texture. Do not overcook or you will have a mushy baked mac n cheese.) When pasta is done, drain and set aside.

Step 2.) In a large bowl, add milk, heavy cream,,eggs cheeses (except for the smoked gouda). Stir to combine.

Step 3.) Taste the milk mixture and add pinch of salt & pepper . This will help avoid having a plain, bland bake macaroni & cheese.

Step 4.) Butter a 9 x 9 inch baking dish, and pour macaroni in.

Step 5.) Pour cheese mixture over macaroni & top with smoked gouda cheese. Sprinkle with paprika

Step 6.) Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes. Do not overbake. It may be a bit jiggly when you take it out of the oven. It will firm up as it cool.

Step 7.) Let cool for about 10-20 minutes to fully set.

Enjoy!!!

Something that I would be interested in is, if people are so inclined to share, would be for people to post recipes or links to the recipes. Some (many) of the dishes posted here sound absolutely wonderful and I would love to give it a try :)

Guest Rich.
Rich! That's great. Now when the waiters ask me what I want for dessert, I can say, "Do you have any dick?" without hesitation.

I already tried that Hoover42, I got shown the pepper mill. :(

I'm guessing Gcursor's been at the sherry again, as I've already posted a pic. of my favourite dish. :p
