Some very reputable agency ads tout on behalf of some great looking guys, "Affection Not A Problem!"

Really? Always?

Without being off-putting (but if possible, be frank)--when is affection a problem, for whom, and what can a client do about it?

I have read your post a few times and for the life of me I can't understand what you mean.

English is not my first language, so I may be missing something quite obvious, but could you please explain what you mean?

I don't get it either

Juan -- Let me presume that bc is saying what happens when you encounter a guy that for whatever reason you just aren't attracted to in any way shape or form. There is no affection. There is NO attraction at all. It happens. We're only human I guess. There was one hire that I made that for what ever reason I don't think the escort thinks we clicked and it has become pretty obvious to me that he just wasn't interested in me at all. Or as the movie title says "He's Just Not That Into You". Wouldn't it be better for all involved to be honest and tell the guy and walk away rather than let the guy have a bad experience? It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with either the escort or the client. They just don't click. What then?

Juan:

My apologies for writing in a horribly obtuse style. This comes from years of practice.

Lee interpreted the query below correctly. The question boiled down to how, honestly, can anyone promise that an escort/companion will be affectionate, when we all think of affection as such an honest emotion. There must be some people one has to meet in this profession that just can't draw out one's affection. I suspect you're in a different category, and have ways to deal with this. What are they?

Thanks, Juan! Know that I am one of your most ardent admirers of your writing style. Unlike my own, it is always crisp, clear and witty.

Best wishes,

BC

I think I get what your asking - What is an escort really saying when he posts, "Affection, not a problem." in his ad. I can take it to mean one of two things - Implied You - Your affectionate embraces, kissing and touching are OK with me. OR "I will not have a problem being affectionate with you - embracing, kissing and touching you."

Either interpretation only opens the door to a discussion about sharing affection with the escort. And frankly, IF being affectionate is an issue? I don't want to hire you.

I believe the opposite of Affection Not A Problem! would be, "Come in, drop trou and get blown, No Recip" OR "Come in, drop to knees and suck my load." OR "Come in drop trou, bend over and I take it RAW!"

To each his own, whatever blows your skirt up, or plumps your sausage.

W&WB:

I found this terribly hurtful. I am mostly inexperienced. I have had experience with only one escort, which was wonderful. That's it. I'm doing my best to learn from others. I do my best to hunt around for interesting videos to post on the "Lounge," and also post some interesting questions on this forum. I'm sorry if they seem silly to you.

If you were aiming to be funny--then I do appreciate it very much.

Don't feel guilty (well, just a little bit...I beg you.)

Guilty? About What?

Honesty? Humor? Clarity? Evaluation? Intuition? A Poster Child?

NAH!

Some very reputable agency ads tout on behalf of some great looking guys, "Affection Not A Problem!"

I think with some guys, particuarly exceeding good looking guys, there can be a perception that they won't be engaged in the experience. I've seen reviews where they'll say something along the lines like they guy was drop-dead gorgeous but just sat there/uninterested/seemed bored/couldn't wait to leave/etc so the overall experience was disappointing.

As for flaming bcohen, he's said before he's just trying to find interesting things to post here to generate discussion. I'll admit some of the posts can be a bit earnest, but I appreciate that he's trying to get people to talk about things and seems sincere about it. If you don't like the post, just ignore it or start your own.

Doesn't this comment belong on the John Edwards thread?

Good Afternoon BC

First of all how important is affection to you? Ten being very, one, being who cares. If your answer is 8-10, then start reading reviews, scan RB and m4mnow, start aking phone calls and sending e mails, and then follow through with your choice and hire him. If,however, you simply want to generate discussion, say so. Sometimes you've got to take the chance that something wont work out, and it happens, chalk it up to experience, and move on.

Spanker:

Thank you for your kind notes. I never thought of the perspectives that you pose.

Yes, some of my queries are intended to promote discussion. For example, I'm not in a nursing home, but I really wondered if some escorts deal with nursing home patients (and hope that they do, as some stories were heart-warming in this area).

GQPro made a related post dealing with disabled clients.

I'll do my best to clarify what is personal vs. what is discussion-oriented.

Thanks for your nicely-conceived input and insight.
