I think with some guys, particuarly exceeding good looking guys, there can be a perception that they won't be engaged in the experience. I've seen reviews where they'll say something along the lines like they guy was drop-dead gorgeous but just sat there/uninterested/seemed bored/couldn't wait to leave/etc so the overall experience was disappointing.

 

Although not directly analogous, it reminds me of what I observed recently. I was watching a guy give lap dances. Gorgeous. Amazing Body. The customers were obviously into it. But he was looking all around, he may have even been chewing gum, but his mind was 1000 miles away. And for one dance, I think that's exactly what you're talking about. Complete disconnect from the client.
