Yes! As some of you know, I'm finally getting married in September :) Although I'm a bit scared whether I will have a lasting marriage, I want to give it a try. I am just thankful that there is someone who loves me for who I am. I've had an amazing time here and thank you all for the friendship. I've learned a lot and you all help me develop diverse perspectives on many things. You guys brought peace and joy back to my lonely life and gave me strength when I was sick. Our Lee sent me a song just at the right time so his song will be played with in our wedding. Thank you Lee for allowing me to play your song! I love you all wish you all the best.

Greatness... Congratulations... but please don't leave the Forum... we would miss you terribly!

 

DD -- I fear that G has left the forum. If you notice G's title is now listed as Guest. I don't know if this is permanent or if it can be reactivated at a later time. Deej/Coop???

I sincerely hope he's not gone for good. That would be a great loss.

 

But, there are major changes coming up in his life. I can understand the need to focus on the wedding and relationship. I wish him well and hope he'll check in often.

Greatness asked to be deactived, but I didn't want his posts to become anonymous so I changed his status to: "Unregistered and Not Logged In" which requires my intervention to reset. This is similar to how I have the Hooboy account protected.

 

I will miss Greatness and wish him the very best in this new segment of his life journey.

Does this mean Hooboy could potentially be reactivated and come back to post? Somehow, I think he would have gotten a kick out of that. :)

 

As for greatness...hey, it worked for Jack Wrangler and Margaret Whiting! :p

Rehab isn't a bad idea. He'll be back at some point in time.

Much like the tombstone for W.C. Fields and Philadelphia, as of now I'd rather be dead than have a fiance. I need that like a need about 15 or 20 holes in my head. I've got more trouble than I know what to do with now. Maybe in a few years. But now, oh please dear god no. :)

 

But thanks for the thoughts anyway.

Margaret Whiting is a man? Because G's intended is a man -- a long time family friend or so he informed me quite a few weeks ago.

 

He's announced multiple times that he's getting into an arranged marriage with a woman. Then again, the whole thing could be fiction. It wouldn't be the first time on this board!

We have seen G attempt to leave the board several times before. Some will be pleased others will miss him. I only hope that whatever he decides or moves onto that he finds a sense of fulfilment and happiness. I truly feel not seeing him here again is a sign his desire to move forward with his life has succeeded ... so goodbye and good travels.

Although I am very new to the Forum, and do have experience with a wedding, I truly wish you the very best with this moment in your life. While we all ask for and need advice from others, it ultimately comes down to what is best for YOU and others involved in YOUR decision.

No, dear....

 

If I was marrying a woman, (or even pretending to... oh, wait, I did that in my 20's)....the earth would stop spinning and Hell would freeze over... and Juan would let me film him. And Thor... with David.

 

But if I was.... Chloe would be the ring bearer... in keeping with the pets in the wedding party theme.

 

And as for David.... obviously, you have never met him. When have we ever known David to play a supporting role? Darling, if he ain't the star of the show, then he ain't in it.
