Could someone define the following terms which show up in profiles on gay social sites:

1. Chaser 2. On the DL

thanks

I think #1 one is short for "Chubby Chaser" and means somebody who is attracted to fat men.

(One of my housemates years ago was 6'3", 335 lbs and he used the word "fat" to describe himself. He had a cherubic face, a nice

disposition and people *did* chase him).

DILF? Is it the male equivalent of MILF? Kind of a male cougar? This is what Wiki says....but I just am checking to see if there are any gay nuances to the term that wiki does not mention.

"Chaser" is a term that can have multiple meanings. It might also refer to a "bug-chaser", i.e., somebody who is eager to become infected with HIV. I've seen that term used, even though it's hard to believe that many such people are actually around.

Thats what comes to mind when I hear the term chaser. There's actually a documentary about people trying to get aids on purpose.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0355482/ some have lost a partner and have survivors guilt, some think they will end up with it sooner or later so get it on their terms, some even think it gives them a sense of belonging to a community. still strange way of thinking

Really! Why is it that people can take the time to go to a site, login and post but can't use google?

"On the DL" is a term that originated in the African-American community, to refer to a man who was functionally bisexual, but hid his participation in homosex from his female partners. I have rarely seen it used in the white community until very recently.

OK

OK, I'll bite: What's a "power bottom?" Is it the same as a muscle bottom?

Does the "power" or "muscle" distinction imply that most bottoms are skinny or generally passive?

lol i'll make the same comment a made years ago when i heard the term power bottom on a site. imo your a power bottom when the dick doesn't fuck your ass but yo ass fucks the dick. i thinks its a guy that a agressive bottom that can pretty much take anything

Iv never have heard anyone white use the term DL

The term DL is used quite a bit on Craigslist. At least in that forum, it seems to be used by all racial pursuations. Perhaps more by Latin or Black cruisers, but I think white as well.

lol - that's a pretty good definiton. Power bottoms often challenge/direct the tops - 'harder, faster', etc -as opposed to 'submissive' bottoms

I never thought of MILF and cougar as the same. A MILF is the object of desire, but she is not necessarily interested in younger men; whereas a cougar actively pursues them young.

I would definitely agree with Sam on this one. DILF/MILF and cougar have absolutely nothing to do with one another -- actually it more or less defines who is doing the hunting. As someone who was referred to as a DILF for the first time a few weeks ago (and trust me guys, for some of us who never considered that a possibility it can be a rush) it means having younger guys coming on to you. Whereas the cougar (and I don't know if there is a gay terminology difference) are the ones who are seeking younger men.

But believe me, when you get to be a certain age, being the hunted feels good.

MILF = Mom I'd Like to Fuck, DILF = Dad I'd Like to Fuck. These are usually used by high school or college age kids to refer to their friend's attractive parent.
