Today's review of Brady Lanning is suspect.

I can't see a client describing an escort's weight as 174.

Wouldn't he be more likely to say 175? True, the escort might have told him 174 and he just repeated it, but I wonder?

Also, he is a first time reviewer.

Could be funny, or it could simply be a typo. You see, the 4 is right next to the 5, and fingers are not always accurate! :-)

When I review an escort, things like height and weight are just plugged in from the prior review or an AOL profile or web site--unless they are way off, then I'll comment and maybe make an issue--like with a way outdated pic or clearly incorrect dick size or age. But here, the previous review also had 174, so I bet that's what the reviewer did--of course that gets us to the previous one...... }>

BUT IF you really want to look at what I feel a phony review, look at DAVE GOODBAR's one and only review from last month. I was going to comment on it then didn't have the time, then it got stale, but there the reviewer seems like he is (trying) writing a porn story and lays it on way too much for a client taking a few minutes to review an escort. Interesting enough, same style or review as the first couple for Cory Sport and CS is one of the only two he has reviewed b4. So that, to me anyway, is a phony review. Just IMHO

The previous reviewer has five reviews posted so should be fairly reliable. Brady himself says 175 on his site, so I would expect a self perpetuating typo. I also simply plug in the stats from either the guys website or a previous review unless they are obviously wrong; a tape measure and a scale are not part of my escort travel pak.

I do think reviewers tend to copy from the most recent review. Unless the escort is standing over their shoulder as they type (which might be the case if Escort A was writing up his friend, Escort B), the client is working from memory. I have had guys call me very thick, thick and I think one said average thickness. Several have said 8 and a few said 9.

I do not believe in using the standard AOL ruler and mirror, therefore I always make it a point to describe myself if asked for my endowment downwards rather than upwards (preferring that the client said I sold myself short than that I over sold myself). Likewise, with the description.

My favorite comment is the one from guys who write: "he is so much more handsomer than his pictures" except I hear this from clients to my face as well. I always want to respond, "well, you made the decision to hire me based on those pictures...."

When I first joined the site, I would look at the new reviews religiously. Now, I simply look at the responses from escorts, and then read the rest of the reviews that escort has, or reviews of escorts who either want to work with me or whom a client would like to arrange a threeway with. The things I remember viewing as suspect were clients who remembered the URL to a web site like American Male or Rent Boy that took you to the specific escort's page. If you held a gun to my head and demanded those URLs of my own, I would be helpless. I also found the reviewers who used the same verbiage of interest.

HIRE AGAIN: HELL, YES.

DIFINITELY

IN A NEW YORK MINUTE.

Or those who used a very unique description for someone:

"soul patch" for facial hair or "ice blue" and "sky blue" for eye color, which is repeated several reviews in a row.

However, if I were hiring, I would simply go by the number of reviews, the credibility of the reviewers, the credibility of the escort AND also go by my own research and conversation with the escort. I have had clients request three ways with two escorts in Los Angeles, one who has no reviews and one who had several glowing reviews. I had a bad feeling about the one with the glowing reviews, the first two of which were third time reviwers (not first time), and he admitted those reviews were fake. At that point, I went with my gut and used the guy with no reviews. The client was happy and as he had already reviewed me, the client simply reviewed this escort and he now has several reviews. This escort is also a well-known adult film performer and I was surprised he had no prior reviews (good or bad) since he had been an escort for a number of years.

I think the clients on here do a good job of finding, exposing and discovering which escort does not merit their "raves." Unfortunately, not every client comes to this site first or ever. Many of my clients who come to me from AOL did not know it existed until I offered to send them my reviews. I do notice that more escorts on AOL are stating (as I have for a long time) on their AOL profile: "please ask me for the link to my reviews on the Hoo Boy site" or words to that effect.

But with other sites creating their own awards for Best Escort, Best Escort Over 30, Best Porn Star Escort, et. al., you are never going to get a genuine uniform standard nor perhaps should you. What I might look for in a top for a client of mine is not what you might look for in a top for yourself, no?

Why would that be at all suspicious? Usually before I hire an escort, I bookmark his web site for reference, so when I'd write a review or whatever, I'd have it handy. Or if I were about to write a review, I'd look up the URL beforehand so I could include it.

The weight doesn't sound right to you so you think the whole review is suspect? No wonder some of us don't like to write reviews! Cut some slack once in a while!!!:7

I can only speak for myself when it comes to accessing the weight of an escort. I know how much I can bench press, so I have him lay horizontal and I do a few reps ... if it feels to easy then I add furniture till I get to the weight that I can press. Simple formula everyone should use it :)

RE: Not to hijack, butt...

I'm with Lucky on this one...My first review is pretty good...but to my horror, my client said that my dick size was less than five inches.

I had to write him back and tell him that they were asking for MY dick size...and not his...What's funny about it? I got a lot of work because of the rest of the review he wrote of me.

I appreciate anyone who takes the time to do these reviews...I know some people that have tried 2 and 3 times and still can't get it posted.

One other thing, If you ever write a negative review. Just be honest and not HARSH (unless the escort was a jerk.) Although in NYC, I know that may be tough. With the way Broadway critics review shows. You almost have no choice but to be Bitter when you talk. F*&^%*G Bitches. See...I told you.

In the famous words of LEONA HELMSLEY....What have we become?

(anybody ever see that interview on 20/20)

Not Dennis Quaid and Cher

Some URL's are not too difficult to recall and copy, to wit, my page on American Male dot net:

http://www.americanmale.net/California/Franco.htm

However, some other URL's route you to the state and the particular escort with a series of numbers, to wit this one of one of my exes who is also in Los Angeles:

http://216.2.103.53/cgi-bin/show.cgi?mode=3&site_id=01&ctg_id=EM&ad=000270002

and what I was suggesting that made this suspect was that four or five reviewers in a ROW would list the same URL and then after one or two reviews, another series of four or five reviewers would list a DIFFERENT but equally hard to recall URL in a row. I do agree that some clients will book mark web pages and some escorts will also send or advertise a URL, but often that would be something as simple as www dot escort name dot com, not a series of numbers. It is that fact and the repetition (four or five supposedly unrelated clients recalling the identical URL in a row) that made a particular series, in my eyes, of concern.

If this was not clear, I regret the confusion. Generally, for the record, I think anyone with more than a handfull of reviews probably merited them and that even the very best escort can have an off day and one or even two bad reviews out of 20 or 30 is more a reflection of that off day or poor chemistry between client and escort or a bit of both.

When I retire and feel the need to pursue sex by becoming a client versus "the product," I would certainly still continue to come to come to this site and read the reviews of an escort I was interested in so that I could make a good decision for myself. But I would use the reviews as a reference point, to start off on my own investigation. This is what I would personally recommend to any prospective client, including my own.
