Just another byproduct of the ongoing obesification of America. Diet? Exercise? Hell no, why bother with that when our major retailers can just misrepresent clothing measurements and we can all sit in a circle and sing Kumbaya before devouring that next Big Mac.

So what you're saying Spanky is that the 2/3 lb. Monster Thick Burger at Hardee's that clocks in at 1320 calories all by itself isn't good for us??? Who knew???

Oh nooo...

You throw in a large fry and a hand-dipped chocolate milk shake and you're at 2490 calories -- 500 calories into tomorrow's allotment -- anybody wonder why the south has the highest obesity rates? Thanks, Hardees!!!

Strangely enough, my waist keeps expanding. When I first came out, in my teens, it was 28", when I retired it was 33", and now I seem to have difficulty getting comfortable in pants marked 35", even though my weight is exactly the same as it was ten years ago.

Yep. But the thing that torques me off most is that as your waistline increases, the inseam decreases. From high school through my early 40's, I wore a 31" waist and a 31" inseam. Today I'm comfortable in a 34" waist, but I need a 28" inseam. WTF?

How about cold stone creamery and the pb &c milkshake. ...2000 calories... 68 grams of saturated fat and ... 153 grams of sugar. Thats 68 strips of Bacon or 30 chocolate chip cookies

PK -- I don't know if you are aware about the secret to cookies and few other items. By breaking the cookies in half, you allow all the calories to escape into the air, so they are no-cal treats. That's my story and I'm stick to it :)

I had an idea about lunch you're probably not going to be believe today. I'll send you a PM in a few. Good ol' Southern me strikes. And as far as signature, I can't shut my damned brain off. I keep coming up with 4-5 new ones every day. I was goiing to change it once a week. If that were the case, I'd already be into April of next year. :)
