I think they close by midnight. Most nights. Could be a bit sooner if there are not many customers. Travel time from airport depends on which airport. At that time of night I would say 45 minutes from the international airport (Guarulhos) and maybe 20 minutes from the domestic airport (Congonhas). As we have stated, given your travel times, Tuesday will not work for you to go to Lagoa or fragatta.

I'm just curious. When you say the quality has decreased, what do you mean? Are the boys less good looking, do they have smaller equipment,are they less skilled? Or is it something else?

Just doing an update. I was the OP of this thread. I will be making a return visit to Brazil during Thanksgiving. On this trip I will go to Sao Paulo and Porto Alegre. I am really not sure how to answer your question other than to say that I have been traveling to Brazil for nearly 20 years (including living in Brazil from 2004-2007) and have more experience than most. The quality of the sauna boys had declined based on my last visit. I am hoping that this is a unique exception......and I will test things later this month.

This putateria (as locals call it) has about 30-40 guys a night, 1/2 you have to discard because they are soooo disgusting or hustlery. The remaining are a far cry from what was seen even 4 years ago...

There’s little mystery here. Although Brazilian men seem genetically predisposed to having fantastic bodies (and enormous penises) and its sensuous culture seems to readily accommodate alternate forms of sexuality, I’m guessing that few soccer ball kicking Cariocas grow up feeling they’re “called” to be sauna boys as opposed to doctors, lawyers or even policemen. Intersting last post. Trilingual and I theorized earlier on in this thread that the dynamic and growing Brazil economy could have an inverse relationship on the quality of boys at the saunas there. I do believe that is already at play and is contributing to the reduced sauna boy quality that I experienced on my last visit. Many men are seeking other means of employment. I remember 10-15 years ago that one would see some real stunning talent at the saunas. Model or Novela type material. That seems much tougher to find now.....at least in the saunas. Axiom made a suggestion earlier on that there is still good talent working independently or via agencies......and some do not necessarily work at the saunas. A search through Netgay confirms this is the case......although most the top talent seems to be in Rio rather than Sao Paulo. Two weeks till I leave for SP. I will post a report afterwords.

I was in Sao Paulo for 3 weeks from mid September. This was my 5th visit to Brazil and was the least successful. I have to agree with other correspondents that the standard at Lagoa was not on a par with my previous visits. I had a good time and nobody should be deterred but there was less "spectacular" talent (for want of a better way of putting it) than in the past.

Not a problem at either 117 or Pointe. Brasil is the land of cheap anabolic steroids. Legal are easy and cheap here. And now HGH use is on the rise as well.
