Thanks for the update about Pete. I had watched the movie from netflix a month ago and was going to post a question here if anyone knew what became of him. The film was kind of a sad portrayal of his life as an escort. I could not tell if was real or scripted, but it was interesting but a little boring as a film. Your comments are very interesting - and to me very surprising. When the film was premiered a few years back I attended a viewing of this amazing film at ICA in London followed by a Q&A.

 

As a male escort I was very keen to see the film - so I identified with so much in the film - it was done brilliantly - but not over glamourized, it showed warts and all - many in the film I know are also escorts - some of the scenes like the Christmas meal scene I know from talking to Pete was much ab libbed.
