I'm pretty new to this ... I've hired fewer than 10 times. One thing that's always intimidated me about this is the obvious gap in looks between me and the other guy I'm hiring ... I don't consider myself ugly (I'm well into my 40s, nice head of salt/pep hair, 5-10 and 165 pounds, so I'm reasonably fit) ... but I have a mirror and it's not a face I could make a living with.
