I like the pictures but don't they really belong in the Gallery?

In my first picture post here, I asked that very question, Purplekow. The subject matter did not seem to belong in the gallery as much as here. I would agree with Businessguy in that post that the kinky guys posted here would meet with scorn in the Gallery. Also the volume of posts in the Fetish forum is not drastically affected by these pic posts pushing other discussions down. On the contrary, I think it is perhaps generating more interest in this lonely place. At least that was my hope when I first posted the pics.

 

I would like some feedback from other posters to add their thoughts to Purplekow's. I certainly did not start out trying to skirt any well intentioned guidelines for this site.

 

Being more sub than dom, I am humbly awaiting the decision of the judges, :o:o:o

I would agree that, since this is a special forum for fetish related materials, these specialized photos are more appropriate here than in the general gallery.

I think these pictures belong here and not in the Gallery. Some are offended by photos like these, while others relish them. I think one of the purposes of the Fetish Forum to to have discussions, pictures, etc. related to this subject brought together here for anyone who is interested. Just my thoughts.

Posting such pics in the Fetish Forum is definitely the way to go... If placed in the Gallery a good portion of the comments would read "I hate pain", "I could never do that"... etc.

 

Plus, those who would be offended, turned off, or are otherwise not interested in viewing such photos can more easily avoid them...

 

Also, since doit has been actively posting we have developed a community sub-culture of sorts in this forum which has brought together like-minded individuals in a very positive manner.

 

Additionally, I am quite sure that some of the posted pics have already given a few of us some ideas regarding things to try in the future...
