Was at NY City Opera this afternoon for a performance of Handel's "Partenope." The cast included debut performances by two very hot men, each in his own way.

Anthony Roth Costanzo, a 27 year old countertenor, is a total cutie, a well-developed twink, with a strong, high clear countertenor voice and a beautiful face, glinting eyes and one of those heart-melting smiles. Although he was never shirtless in this production, he was wearing a tight red t-shirt top that suggested real pecs underneath. Slender, nice legs and butt, ingratiating manner, great musicality - attention, opera queens. He'll be debuting with the NY Philharmonic next month in a concert performance of Ligeti's opera Le Grand Macabre. And this summer at Glimmerglass in a new Handel production as well.

Nicholas Coppolo, a tenor, probably a few years older than Costanzo, is a hot macho stud indeed. He played a part that called for swagger and sultry sexiness, and came through in spades, also stripping to a tight A-frame shirt for extended scenes showing off well developed shoulders and arms. Handsome hotty with a strong, clear tenor voice. So, another alert for opera queens. Be on the lookout for these two!

Cooper might have moved it here from another forum...
It was originally in the Lounge where it might have had more visibility and might have even turned some disbelievers into checking out a bit of operatic culture... which nowadays often has very little in common with your grandma's version of things operatic.

Still it ultimately belongs here given this new and much appreciated venue.
