Any experience with Hunter?

Today's new reviews include two for a "new" BDSM escort in NY, Hunter. Both reviews are by first-timers, which always raises some suspicions, especially when the reviews are ecstatically positive. So I'm wondering whether anybody who's a regular poster in this forum has had first-hand experience with Hunter, who sounds fantastic.

Whenever a new escort gets two reviews on the same day from two first time reviewers, my suspicious detective juices kick in, and I read the reviews and the escort's ad carefully, looking for hints that two or all three are written by the same person. In this case, there are several minor details that indicate different writers, yet one small detail in both reviews that is a writing quirk, which makes me wonder if they were written by the same reviewer. Both reviews drop articles/pronouns in a couple of instances. It does seem fishy. A lot of people write like that but for two such people to submit first-time reviews on the same day for a previously unreviewed gentleman? If looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...

 

But I agree with Charlie that the "campaign" is well put together and could perhaps be representative of skill putting together an elaborate fetish scene.

In retrospect that was a "golden Age". I remember taking my time to decide which of these guys to ultimately hire... So yes! It was indeed analogous to an all you can eat BDSM buffet. Hi, I am new here and a long time lurker. I can't say I have ever hired Hunter but I have noticed whenever I do see his ad at rentboy the ad for "Francisco" is usually up too (who specializes in foot fetishes and domination). Having been there in the past, I can earnestly say that it is not fun to be at the mercy of a veritable lunatic. Consequently, I am going to sit this one out. In addition, I have heard stories from others about guys doing drugs in the middle of a scene while the bottom is tied up and helpless... and while I can't prove it I would bet that one of my bad experiences was indeed partially drug induced.

That's why I'm hesitant to take the plunge without seeing some credible reviews that address these issues.

That is why I always include something about the guy's intelligence, judgment, and sense of caring in any BDSM review. It does not matter how talented a guy is, if he doesn't show concern for the bottom's limits, safety, and wellbeing then he is not a true professional... but harebrained and totally off the wall.

Another First Timer Review

 

Hunter the "new" BDSM escort in NYC got another review today (3/30/2010) and again it is by a "First Time Reviewer". That makes 4 reviews... all by first timers.... two of which appeared on the same day. At least the writing style of this one seems to be quite different.

 

Charlie seems to be the expert regarding finding clues to deciphering if the authors are one and the same... Perhaps he can find a clue that I missed while half asleep at 6:30 AM that might determine a connection with the other submissions.

Although in some ways the "voice" in all the ads is similar (educated, self-confident, adventurous, financially well-off, middle-aged), the styles are varied just enough that, if Hunter is writing them, he is smart enough to control the style in each one (the reviewers sound smart enough to do that, too). What does strike me as odd in this new one is that the reviewer claims he mentioned to a buddy that he had this fantasy of being dominated by a leather master (new for him, we assume, and not the sort of thing one usually mentions in casual conversation), and the buddy "recommended" Hunter--how did the buddy know about Hunter? Is this first time reviewer someone who normally hires escorts to realize his fantasies? How did he find out about this site? One might expect that a "Bank Executive" (note caps) who is used to hiring escorts would have reviewed some others. If Hunter is reading the MB, I expect some of these questions will be answered in the next review.

Perhaps there are two people writing the reviews. The first and fourth reviews have very few commas. But, more likely Hunter is a smart guy, and is changing his writing style somewhat for each review.

 

Throughout, the reviews have a consistent style of starting sentences with a verb. If Hunter is as smart as we believe he is, the next review or reviews will not answer the questions raised in this thread. I do believe that Hunter reads the MB.

I know I have no history here, so I can only tell you that I was here years ago with a different name (and a different computer, email and a long forgotten password) asking for a no limit spank master. Hunter as seen by old-timer
