What's up with Maria Carey's bizarre speech delivered while accepting an award this week for her role in the movie Precious? See below an edited version of Mariah's 7+minute speech filled with ramblings, vocal slurs and awkward pauses. Alcohol? Xanax? Other suggestions?

In general she really blew it with the promotion of her role in Precious. She could have talked about the plight of inner city kids and/or child abuse in her interviews. But NO! All she talked about was how the director made her appear with no makeup or rather dark circles under her eyes and a faux moustache.
