Le Reve at Wynn because I've seen O and Mystere (which I enjoyed the most). Couldn't pay me to see a lounge act or Broadway show.

Several Fun Choices

I was in Vegas in August - Im not a Cirque-De-Soleil fan AT ALL

- But friends dragged me to the Cirq. "LOVE" show at the Mirage.

This is centered on all Beatles Music and was just amazing! Id see it again.

Great entertainment - And check out CheapVegas.com they WERE offering the 2nd ticket for $25.00 with a full price purchase ='d 2 Primo seats for LOVE for $150.00 total

The Cheapest, campiest, most fun show was at the KRAVE the Gay Club owned by and Adjacent to HARD ROCK Casino featuring

CASHETTA - A Drag Queen Magician

Lots of Fun-Lots of Laughs - Tickets were $30 bucks came with a free drink and admission to the Dance club for the evening

Premium Drinks were $2-3 bucks a piece on refills.

And I gotta tell you that we had a great time at the LIBERACE MUSEUM

-Free Shuttle from Strip Hotels - 12 bucks to get in

-All his Costumes/Cars/Pianos/Jewelry (Some truly amazing antique pianos)

- Guided tours are free at specific times and a couple of afternoons a week they do a live tribute show with an talented broadway Pianist/Producer

Cute gift shop and campy photo-ops. Plus the museum was created by Liberace as a non-profit that has awarded more than $8million in scholarships to students in the performing arts.

Have Fun! I know I did - SO much so - I didnt even get a chance to contact a certain kinky gentleman caller based in Vegas whose acquaintance I have been wanting to make.

Sorry Lucky Couldn't pick just one

If you could (or already have) only pick one Las Vegas show to see, which one would it be?

"'O' is forever..."

With good right do they say that. In the last six months I've seen O twice, Le Reve and Love.

Le Reve is $125...O will run $175.

Le Reve reminded me of an akward sex show mixed with the second coming and the wrath of God...

Go to Travelzoo.com

they offer shows, hotels etc for Vegas among other cities.

My two favorite shows in Vegas: "O" and Cher (I've seen "O" 3 times and Cher 5 times in Vegas)

I've seen Jubilee and I've seen Zumanity. O is just too expensive. I have been buying theater tickets for my New York trip, and Broadway looks positively cheap compared to Vegas. Consider that the Vegas auditoriums are larger than New York theaters, and those guys are making out like slot machines.

Jubilee!'s been on my list for a while...but I've been holding out on it in the hopes of seeing Bette Midler. From my understanding, she has girls and the whole "thrill" of a burlesque show...to some extent. Just every time I go she's on vacation. So, you may want to look her up as well.

A Bette Midler show without her Harlettes and the Delores Fishbein fishschtick just wouldn't be a Better Midler show, and she never disappoints.

It's *Bette*. You can't not have a good time with Bathhouse Bette.

A friend told me he nearly coughed up blood from laughing so hard at a Penn & Teller show last weekend. I'd probably tune the travel dates to see Terry Fater (the ventriloquist), too.

Too many shows. Too little time!

KA if it's still playing, do it. It was the first of 3 c-d-c shows I saw in a very long weekend. O and Zumannity were the others. I can recommend all three c-d-c shows but do not recommend doing all three in such a short time span. Perhaps because it was first, KA is the one I remember having the breath taken away the most often. Zumannity was thrilling too but chiefly because we were in the first row and subject at any moment to being dragged on stage and humiliated. But those hunks cavorting in the cage were right there in front of us: close enough to lick! [bIG SIGH]

Jubilee seemed like it had been there forever. I thought was rather like a slightly risque "Sing Along With Mitch" so I sang along and had a grand time. I doubt that you'd be able to drag me back though.

The Vegas G_d apparently did not hear my plaint for Bette. I won't go back to Vegas without a ticket to her show.

There are several discount (sometimes 1/2-price, sometimes more) show ticket places around town, and they'll usually have decent discounts for same-day shows. The main one is just north of the MGM Grand in the Coca-Cola/M&M building (technically "Showcase") but they have other locations as well.

Bette Midler's Vegas contract is up in 2010 and her website only lists her Vegas shows up to Jan 31.

Will she renew? I hope so. Cher, too.

I am planning a Vegas trip in 2010 and I guess I should move up my plans to January to make sure I get to see Bette.

Half-Price Booth For Me

Well, I guess one could spend a lot of time watching Vegas shows, but the Cirque shows and the big stars (Cher, Bette, Donny and Marie) seem to be at the top. Jubilee is very old, but still represents what Vegas used to be famous for.

Since I have been buying tickets for Broadway shows at the same time that I have been looking for Vegas shows, my conclusion is that the Vegas shows are way over-priced. Their auditoriums are larger than the New York theater's, and they charge about double what New York does. So, you either lose it in the casino or at the show. I can't understand how Vegas' economy could be dragging if they are making this much dough. My friends who sought tickets for Sunday's Midler show got them, but in the rafters as the show was almost sold out.

Le Reve was good...

Le Reve was pretty good, but I got discount tix the same day down the strip (in the big Coca Cola bottle!). Jersey Boys was also a lot of fun, and the Phantom in Vegas is actually better than the tours I have seen. I would definitely not pay full price--The Magic's a Drag queen does sound funny, though.

Donnie & Marie??? I'd pass on those two Mormons. It's bad enough having to watch them on Dancing with the Stars.
