I was also taken aback that there was another person present during the appointment. Obviously Tommy Deluca found nothing strange or unusual in the situation in that he didn’t even believe it necessary to address the question in his reply. I seldom see an escort, I don’t know, at his hotel or his home. If I did and found another person present I would politely excuse myself and leave.

I would not have stayed either. Especially in light of no explanation - like this is my roommate, my cousin etc.

 

However, in Tommy's response he totally neglects the Big Pink Elephant in the Room.

 

The unexpected, unexplained guy on the couch - who was a major cause of distress for

the client and most likely a prime reason he felt uncomfortable and rushed.

 

An apology, an explanation, ". . .a damn I should have told the client before he arrived - stupid me" - would have at least been sincere.

 

Instead Tommy told us how wonderful he is and that you can't make everyone happy.

 

Maybe he is - and Maybe you can't.

 

But ignoring the Big Pink Elephant just continues to reinforce that he was clueless about this clients pretty reasonable concerns/feelings.

I've never had that happen to me either, but if I showed up and someone else was there and I did not know in advance about it, I would first be taken aback and then a little pissed off because I don't think it is professional and would just ruin the experience for me. I would like to think that I would politely decline to continue with the appointment and explain why.

I can remember three occasions when I arrived at an escort's place of business and found someone else there.

 

The first time, the other guy, who was really hot, was introduced as a roommate, and the escort and I retired to his bedroom. During a break, he suggested that I go in the other room and service the roomie, which I was more than happy to do--there was no extra charge, and I actually thought the roomie was the sexier of the two.

 

The second time, the escort (who claimed--probably correctly--to be straight) introduced the other guy as a houseguest; the guest wanted me to give him a bj, too, but the escort nixed that and made him leave. (Too bad: the guest was a hottie.)

 

The third time was really odd, because it was an incall at a fly-by-night service in NYC, and the manager let me in, then sent me to a room with the escort; however, shortly afterwards, the escort's boyfriend arrived and insisted on coming into the room with us. The escort asked me to go outside while he spoke with the bf, so I went into the front room with the manager, who was young and cute, and ended up having really hot sex right there with him! When the escort emerged and suggested we continue in a 3-way with him and the bf in the bedroom, I said no, and left.

 

Obviously, I was more adventurous when I was younger than I am now, when I can hardly handle one person.

Hell NO! Unless the 3rd Party was a "Roomate or Travel Buddy" on his way out of the Room! Now that has happened a few times to me!

It has not happened with me, so I can't say with any certainty how I'd react, but I'm guessing it would entirely depend on how the escort handled/presented it. I can understand, though, an escort wanting to take precautions when meeting a first-time client and having a 'friend' on standby, particularly in NYC and particularly if I was a lightweight like Tommy.

 

The escort's having a 'friend' present at my arrival would probably not bother me, but having the guy there throughout the entire encounter is a whole different thing. I don't think Tommy handled the situation very well at all and I'm basing that as much on the rebuttal as the review itself. Wetnwildbear's observation that Tommy entirely neglects to address the issue of the second person in the room is spot on but is only a symptom of Tommy's apparent inability to address the bigger issue of how he failed to put the client at ease. Indeed, Tommy's defense seems centred around how if the client felt 'rushed' he should have said something - which totally ignores the likelihood that the client was too uncomfortable to speak up in the first place...
