A Question(may be nothing) but why was my original post on this thread deleted ......would be interested to know,as far as i thought there was nothing OTT or controversial.

 

Anyway the gist was if this "Miguel"has any real EVIDENCE then lets see it me thinks someone got so upset the X Files ended it tipped him over the edge.

 

Also another question according to my limited technical knowledge if your profile reads "normal" you have to wait to have your message put on by a moderator which "Miguel" does so ergo a moderator would have seen the intinal message which gave full names before Daddy deleted the surnames then why did the 2 messages get posted in the first place.I know that the tech stuff i might get wrong but it seems weird.

Regulation may not have many fans here, but he often makes important points others would rather ignore. And once again, amid the wailings of the Hooboy Chorale, his voice comes through with what I feel is the reality of the matter.

 

Most longtimers would find it hard to brush off what he has to say about Hooboy's intermittent displays pettiness, vindictiveness and game-playing, but they, like many of us who still hang around here, have probably decided these are minor irritants in the course of useful (and often entertaining) exchanges among posters to the forums--the one & only genuine value the site has ever offered (along with NY Observer's Gaiety reviews.)

 

Yes, Miguel & friends have some unexplained beef against H, but I for one am content to assume they have significant grounds for it without having to hear the all the he-said/she-said details. (I've followed enough flaps of the sort over the past 3 or 4 years to know that Hooboy's behavior--and veracity--leave quite a bit to be desired, so all we have here is the latest incident of ox-goring. Hobboy lost his credibility with me toward the end of the last century.)

 

As for why the original message 'got by' (censored or not), I think Reg has hit on the truth of THAT, too. Hoo's narcissism requires peaens of praise from the Chorale at regular intervals, and nothing gets them singing quite as long & loud as this sort of direct & violent attack on their hero. Besides, it's clumsily written, over-to-the-top & riddled with irrelevancies--giving it the extra appeal of being easily dismissable by the ass-kissers.

 

BTW, I thought Hooboy had forsworn all forum appearances just a short time ago. When did he make his comeback, and what sort of rationale came with it?

His profile shows his status _NOW_, not his status when he posted. That can change any time Daddy or HooBoy decides to change it.

 

I'll let you guess how long it took one of them to decide he should be moderated.

This is true enough. I was recently jumped upon by Hoo for "violating rules" when I hadn't regarding Anthony Holloway. I suspect it had more to do with Butch Harris than anything else. (And Butch was wonderful about the whole thing. He even wrote me a personal e-mail confirming that he had read AH's reviews and still posted the link to them) deej was the first one to step up and point out to Hoo that he was wrong and I appreciated that. I am definitely NOT a Hoo apologist by any means.

So, in saying that above, I feel that Miguel was totally wrong in "outing" Hoo, so to speak. If he's got some kind of evidence, present it already. That stupid Hoowatch site has not been updated. Miguel has not responded to my e-mails regarding the escorts and reviewers he has supposedly created. What an idiot. If I was going to do an expose on someone, I'd have my website dripping with information and I'd present it all up front. In this case, what we're seeing here is more of the smoke and mirrors from the likes of Darrin Powes and Billyboy that seems to crop up once per quarter.

His room mate is the one who posted the message that started all this. His room mate is someone regular readers here know well -- he is someone who violated a a major rule and became moderated. He then posted using Miguel's login -- something we caught him doing in the past.

 

Miguel sent a very nice message to me tonight apologizing for his room mate's action and apologizing for it all. He says his room mate has a lot of problems and is moving back to Dallas

 

I would rather not reveal who this room mate is -- it realty does not matter. He is just another pathetic person who publicly self-destructed.
