I was glad to read that he is hitting the gym 'cause his shirtless pics showed way too much tummy flab. I think this whole thing will be a great embarrassment to Palin and I think that's such a hoot. Who knows..... he might just manage to make mega bucks what with commercials and various other endeavours he seems to be pursuing. Good for him. If he can make serious coin that way it's better than being a grease monkey in Alaska.

Wholly agree. If Sarah can resign public office to cash in on celebrity while it's hot, no reason Levi should not do likewise.

I seem to be very contrary this week, because I again disagree with many of the posters here. What has this guy done to deserve any attention at all, other than the dubious achievement of knocking up his high-school girlfriend? Jesus, he can't even fuck responsibly. And is he so goodlooking that we need to see him naked? No, but we think it's great because it embarrasses Sarah Palin, who I'm sure is not popular in this forum (not that I'm defending her -- even though I'm a Republican I think she's an idiot). To put the shoe on the other foot, suppose during Hillary's campaign for President, some right-wing group paid Monica Lewinsky to pose nude? Would we have felt that was deserved or funny or righteous, or just a cheap way to embarrass Hillary? Would we have cheered Monica on?

That being said, I had a friend at the ad agency here in NYC that represented the American Dairy Association, or whatever it's called, and I called him when the scandal broke to tell him I thought he should pitch to them the idea of Monica posing with a white milk moustache in one of their "Got Milk?" ads.

jackcali, what have most Playgirl/nude models done to 'deserve' whatever attention has been given them? What did Beau Breedlove (or whatever his name was) do to 'deserve' his spread in Unzipped earlier this year besides have an affair with a mayor? A lot of people do nothing to 'deserve' their celebrity status except be caught in the right (or wrong) place at the right (wrong) time...

Personally, I think Levi's being pretty smart with this. After all, it's only a matter of time before some paparazzi snaps and sells some nudies of Levi (or a home-made sex video) hits the internet... At least this way, Levi gets some $$$ out of it without having to sue someone...

As for the 'embarrassment' factor for Palin - it seems to me that Palin has a lot more she should be embarrassed about than an ex-son-in-law having nude photos published...

That would have been funny! But then that's the problem with the US, too many people have lost a sense of humor.

I agree Palin has a lot to be embarrassed about, but having a daughter knocked up in high school by some asshole shouldn't be one of them. And I admit that there are plenty of celebrities that don't 'deserve' their status (and it would be a better world for all of us if they lost that status), but this is all about embarrassing a public figure by embarrassing her daughter. The daughter didn't run for office and doesn't deserve this sort of humiliation. At some point, we as a community have to say 'enough of that, we're not interested.'

Again, let me pose an alternative situation. Malia Obama will turn 17 in the middle of the second Obama administratoin, if there is one. Suppose she, like many 17 year old girls, has sex with someone from her school and suppose there were video evidence of that. Again, would we celebrate her sex partner, put him on talk shows and in magazines, ask him to pose nude?

My issue with all this is that it's all political, and to my mind it's outside the scope of what's appropriate in politics (and I'm sure many would agree with me if it were a Democrat being mocked). As I said on the post in the thread that disappeared about the unnamed escort with the whispered-about drug problem, it's the hypocrisy that bothers me the most.

I don't think politics has anything to do with it. Levi never held elected office. He did have a tangential association with an elected official and also had a child out of wedlock with the daughter of a national figure. The only difference is that in my day the knocked-up teen would mysteriously dissapear to her Aunt's farm in Kansas for nine months. Instead this couple stood on stage, and were manipulated as political pawns garnering the attention of millions. It became a curiosity. Did anyone really beleive that Levi would marry Bristol? It's a soap opera. A hybrid of Petticoat Junction and Dallas. After the handlers cleaned him up, quite a few people found Levi attractive. He kind of had a "Straight Broke Boys" vibe. I really don't think Levi can do much to tarnish Palin's reputation. She seems more than capable of doing that on her own. There's a reason it's called Pop Culture.

The argument about Obama's daughter is specious. The issue with the Palin's and Levi is factual. That was more than my two cents worth. Please keep the change : -)

If you really think that politics has nothing to do with this, then I've got a lovely bridge down the street that you might like to buy from me, and I don't think the change you let me keep covers the cost. ;-)

Fame is fleeting but while it lasts it is like nectar from the gods.

More like crystal meth to a guy with a glass pipe in his hand. God help this kid if he thinks he can play with the media beast and not be eaten.

Well, I don't think that politics has nothing to do with it, but I have to say that the majority of comments (pro &con) that I've read on the subject around the Internet have not been concerned about how this impacts Palin's 'image' or her past/future political aspirations...

And as for a future ex-boyfriend of Obama's daughter being given the 'Levi treatment' down the road, only time will tell... All I can say is that if it did happen, it wouldn't surprise me in the least!

A lot would depend on whether he is photogenic or not. If he is buck ugly, buck naked would not be an option.

I don't think it's her daughter being "knocked up" as you put it, that Palin has to be embarrassed about. It's her trying to use it for political gain by trouping them in front of the nation and trying to pull off the "we're such a wonderful wholesome family" shit.

What ever negative criticism she gets, she asked for big-time. I won't even go into the disgusting maneuver of carting her newly born Downs syndrome baby around like a sack of potatoes for the same reason. She should have been sited for child endangerment.

As for Levi not deserving his "fame status"....... Don't forget, he was the reluctant pawn in the whole Palin exploitation scenario. He didn't ask for it and clearly looked uncomfortable doing it. But life is hard and one has to make a living as best one can. If he has the opportunity to make major money by writing a book, posing for pictures, doing a reality show, or whatever, he should avail himself of the chance. After all he has bills to pay too. Would you prefer to hear he is on welfare?

Which is exactly my point - the guy's looks matter more than whether the politician whose family involved is a Democrat or Republican...

Levi Has Wet Dream

Increasingly unable to get laid in his hometown of Wasilla as the Palin family blackballs him, Levi Johnston last night had his first wet dream since he was 14.

At first Levi was quite distraught about this waste of his seminal fluid, but a rogue Palin family adviser secretly posted the info on a gay blog, and the word rapidly spread that Johnston had dirty underwear for sale. Suddenly the soiled panties were up for auction, with the highest bidder being someone from Hooville, a small town with the largest population of horny gay men in the United States. Although the identity of the Lucky buyer is being kept secret until today's press conference, the Johnston camp is looking forward to the increased revenue stream that will be produced by this market of horny homosexuals. Meanwhile, Hanes underwear is completely sold out in Wasilla.

And remember, Sarah Palin was the standard-bearer for the party who would prefer to give money for abstinence classes in Africa than contraceptives. Someone should have studied harder.

Lucky Book Proposal

Why don't you write a book? How about a story about a talented escort overcoming tough challenges in the business. He becomes extreme rich and he helps out poor people around the world as a philanthropist. However, he is blackmailed by his adversaries for escorting in the past and his new life is threatened. He and his lover fight back holding onto their true love toward each other. They win and the story ends as they have a nice wedding blessed by friends and families. I think it would make a good book. A famous quote from your future book will be..

" As God is my witness, as God is my witness, they're not going to disparage me! I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be mocked again for who I am! No, nor any of my gay friends. Even if I have to kill! As God is my witness, I'll never be disparaged again for who I am!

A cool breeze dries his sweating face as his right fist toward the sky...

All I can say, if he Levi Johnston shows his full johnson, he better bring the goods or he will be vilified by the gay community.

He would be smart to only hint at his real goods like showing the root only or a shadow. H needs to keep people wanting more. Once you are out there interest will immediately move on.

I hope someone is giving him some good advice.

Someone better give the guy some grammar lessons. I just heard him say on the video- "We don't want NO Bad Boy Image" After that my delicate constitution couldn't handle the additional atrocities almost sure to follow, and I turned his interview off.
