I'm sure some of you remember some months ago me lamenting the loss of my dog. I got many sympathetic responses and appreciated all of them.

I am proud to announce that today I acquired a new dog. He is a boxer/hound mix, two years old and his name is Bobby. Someone on this board advised me to wait and take my time before replacing Rocky. I am so glad I followed that advice, took my time and got the dog I really wanted.

Bobby is a terrific dog. He needs some training to walk properly (not pulling on the leash, straying from the path etc.) but I am confident I can train him to be a good walker. All in all I am happy with my choice. It's good to have a dog back in the house again.

I always does my heart good when a good dog finds a good home. Now, once Bobby is settled, it may be time to get him a playmate. Lots of luck with you new friend.

I am really glad to hear you just added a new loving addition to your family. I remember how down you were, and I'm happy you decided to give Bobby a loving home. In return, you'll get years of unconditional love. Brandan

That's nice

It's glad to hear that you have a new dog. I wish the best for both of you. I have a cat and he is so cute. One time he understand that I was in pain because when I was very sick he sat by me and watched over me. He noticed something was wrong. What an amazing companion!

Congrats on your new companion. Yesterday I celebrated two years with my Lucky, who I found in a park abandoned and tied to a fence with no ID. I adopted him and have never been so happy with a pet, of which I have had several in my adult life. This one just came along at the right time, as I expect yours has too! I wish you the best.
