Well what a nice surprise to see my three friends and some of their friends from the dog park. Bonehead is the lab with the oversized tongue and he is 2 year old and was saved from a puppy mill pet store. He was going to be put down because he had congenital hip dysplasia and could not be sold. The shephard like dog is Ben. Rescued from a kill shelter in West Virginia and brought to NJ by a local rescue group. He is now 6 years old. And the gray faced dog is Rusty. She is almost 14 and still pretty spry. She was left tied to a fence in the summer without food or water. She was been with me since that day. Thanks David for capturing them having a bit of fun.

OMG I told David to kiss Bonehead (The dog) for me. But this is so much better thank you David and PK Loved it.

 

OK only because of that will I forgive you both. Hmmm, The Boys are worth it, plus I still had engaging company of my own to share lunch with.

SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN THE LOST FINALE

 

Even the people over at lost with their love of the obscure and their penchant for obtuse philosophical story-telling are giving our K9 friends some comfort. Jack, fresh from his battle with the forces of evil is dying from blood loss and collapses in the jungle lying silently. As his takes his last few breaths, Vincent, the yellow lab comes and lies down beside him giving him comfort in his final moment. Jack and Vincent lying there and above, the plane which has taken the survivors off the island passes through Jack's line of sight in the trees. Jack's eye closes. Thanks Vincent and all the other companion animals who are there for us when no one else is.
