I was wondering how many escorts are honest about their real age versus advertising age?

 

Is it an aberration for someone who is 44 to advertise as 35 ?

I don't list my age in any of my massage ads. I give just over 600 massages a year and out of that number only 1 or 2 ever ask. if they ask as part of the conversation on the table i tell them my age, if they ask on the phone or in a email i tell them its none of their concern no more than their age is any concern of mine. Most of the masseurs here in atlanta lie about their age in their ads. I know one that's 52 claims to be 39 another is 37 and claims too be 29.

I'm honest about my age but can somewhat understand the temptation of shaving a couple of years off especially when you're having to compete with guys that are much younger. In the end though its a lie that you have to maintain and eventually will probably be revealed.

As a client who prefers escorts in the range of 33 to 45 all I really want to know is if you are somewhere near that. I dont think 48 is that different from 45 nor did I think so for the 3 years I was 45.

A 44 year old escort saying that he is 35 is simply lying. I wouldn't want to patronize someone whose first words to me are a lie.

 

UPDATE: The above was my first response, but after thinking about it, I realized that I have known several guys who have shaved a few years off of their age, and it never bothered me. I understood that they had their reasons for doing it. Yes, 9 years is a lot, but if the guy can pass for 35 when he is 44, is anyone really being deceived? Never have lied about my age or anything else about my stats. My profiles are 100 percent true. Why lie? You lie about one thing then you'll need to keep lieing to cover it up. Call me lazy but that's just way too much work.

In principal I do agree with Greg. Age has been discussed here at numerous times and I think most clients look at the range rather than the specific in the age. For me the more important issues that the escort presents first the descriptions of activities and the pictures presented. Thing is what are we going to do about it, report the ad to the government agency in charge of "Truth in Advertising."

 

So Steven was this a random thought or did you have anything or any person in mind as this question crossed your mind?

I guess it is fairly easy for an escort to start advertising using his actual age, say 23, and forget to update it for a couple of years. He might feel rather strange about suddenly changing the 23 to read 26. That can be the start of a very slippery slope.

 

There seem to be very few escorts who do update their age every year. I was really surprised to see an escort who I happen to know has a birthday in April suddenly change his age a couple of weeks ago from 29 to the magic 30. Of course, he might still have shaved a couple of years off but at least he is updating it!

I am always honest about my age to people that ask me while we are together.

I don't advertise my real age.

I now exaggerate it greatly like 99, 80, or 60.

If a client or another escort asks me "in person"

I happily tell them my true age

I assume they would honor this personal information with "discretion"

 

What works best for me is :

I like to keep my pics updated often & have the benefit of doing a video here and there.

so every person that contacts me is presented with a clear visual of what I look like

and the videos give a little bit of what I am like sexually (but just a bit)

 

as for starting the relationship out with a lie I soundly disagree.

If that were true than everyone that has ever hired an escort that uses a stage name is beginning that relationship on a lie.

 

If an escort looks 19 and is 35 or looks 35 and is really 45

and he provides excellent service who is going to question it?

Unless of course they clearly look older than their pics and advertised age.

(this could also work in the reverse and be a problem for young escorts with receding hairlines that may make them look older even though they are only in their 30's)

 

So although I use my real 1st name, I try to keep some personal details under wraps.

 

I try to put my best face forward give 110% and hope I can do the best I can with what I have to offer.

 

I also believe that age can be determined in the performance of the escort

or boring ?

or seemingly tired & robotic?

is the escort constantly wondering if the sheets are getting wrinkled and the clothes on the floor are a mess.

That can be a sign of a distracted mind or an over inflated ego,

regardless of age.

 

If the encounter is exciting, fresh, interesting, connected, fun, youthful and sexy;

maybe the escort might have some knowledge about what men like and how to deliver it.

I find that it is best not to lie about my age. I am 30 and state this. I find that most clients like men out of there 20's and realize that someone in their 30's might have more experience and be more of a professional.This is just my own experience and what I have been told.

I think it's human nature (or at least a deeply engrained part of our culture) to categorize. And with that in mind, I think a lot of guys would rather hire in a certain category (say, younger than 40). If a client is looking for a "Daddy" type, he's not going to hire a 46-year-old escort who looks 38, regardless of what he posts about his age.

 

If I could get away with claiming to be in my 50s, I would get A LOT young guys looking for daddies... but no one would believe me, regarless of the number I posted.

 

Of course ridiculous lying about your age is going to get you in trouble.. and sooner rather than later. But as long as an escort looks like his pictures and can perform as required, I really don't see the harm in marketing oneself into a category that fits his clients' perception of him.

You bring up a good point when it comes to pictures. If I had to choose between someone being dishonest about their age or their pictures, I would rather be mistaken on the age. It baffles me that some people use the same picture for years yet they keep their age updated.

 

I have my pictures taken about every three months and keep those updated on the sites I advertise on and have been told that updated pictures far outweigh many things.

Age is only but a set of 2 digits (3 if you're lucky and willing to go that long). You have 2 and I have 2.

 

Some are sensitive about their age like some are sensitive about their weight, hair loss, too much hair or many other things. I think it's a minor detail. I know some people that are 35 but look 45 and vice versa.

Great answer. Tending toward the other end of the continuum, if an escort is rude enough to ask my age, I usually reply that I am 49 but friends tell me I don't look a day over 56. Most escorts who are dumb enough to ask the question are bright enough to "get" the answer and don't pursue the matter.

thanks for pointing that out i did not report that to daddy it was probably given by a reviewer or in an add that has long since been changed sometimes you cant finish paying for an add unless all information is filled out.

i have never been asked to verify my age by daddys review site.

Truth vs Product

 

I think David said it all, when he talked about appearances vs reality. In threads in the Deli that talk about me, a poster who has never met me said that I was older than advertised. But the client who 'took one for the team' pointed out that in person I am certainly what I claim to be. (That poster has commented negatively on another thread about me as well, without having met me, or knowing me in any way.)

I think that age, if it is used at all in escort ads, should reflect the person who is going to show up.

Somewhere in this thread also was brought up the topic of 'stage names'. This is rather silly, I use my stage name, as a porn model, if I used my street name or my legal name in escort advertisements no one would be able to find me. Very few of my friends even know the name that appears on my passport, unless a client is purchasing an airfare, there is no way that I would want that information broadcast.
