i enjoyed the gaiety and miss it on my trips to new york. over the years i could never understand all the bitching about the gaiety and denise. well, now that it's gone i think many people realize it was not so bad after all and while it had its faults, it was a pretty good deal (i especially remember the complaints each time the price went up or the "refreshments" were not up to par or a dancer failed to show up, etc.).

 

frankly, we all owe denise a "thank you" for putting up with the dancers, the legal authorities and the audiences that were not always on their best behavior. so denise if you read this: THANK YOU for years of entertainment.

This appears to be Traveller's last post in the SCF. Now that he is closer to God (well, we hope!) maybe he can get the Gaiety reopened. I'll settle for Stella's though...

Lucky, I think the closest to Stella's, there will be, is when a Latin Hottie from that old bar, show's up at the Townhouse Unfortunately.! LOL :7
