Option 1 - Trash for cash: It really depends on their conditions.

If they're still in pristine condition, perhaps you may be able to sell them to colletors of old porn. If they're all spotty and sticky, well, I guess you can still try to sell them to collectors with certain fetishes.

 

Option 2 - Porn for dole: Give them away to gay or university libraries. Not sure whether you can claim that on your tax return though. Have you thought about those sperm clinics? Maybe they might give you a monthly pass to watch the process up close and personal.

 

Option 3 - Mag as fad: Wallpaper, wrapping papers for books and gifts, frame and hang them, make them into puzzles, turn them into confetti for gay union/wedding, and last but not least, litter box liner (Warning: Effects on underage kitten unknown! Adult supervision recommended.).

I knew I could count on you guys to come up with some good ideas. I particularly liked some of JT's ideas about using it as wrapping paper, confetti etc. Wallpapering still sounds interesting, too. From the high-minded halls of our ivory towers to the sperm banks...all very creative. But...I think I found a buyer. And I can always use the cash so I can sample some of the real thing. You guys are great.

As a friend of Blade's, and a member of the Gulf Coast Archives and Museum for Gay Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered History (pant,

pant, GCAM for short), we'd be more than happy to take your old

porn. We think male porn is and always has been an important

factor in our lives and should be archived. Also, while we may

think that it has been prolific especially since the 70's, the AIDS

crisis has helped the older of it become a lot more rarer than you

may think. Whole collections have been destroyed by family members.

And anything from the 50's and older is rare indeed.

 

We would be thrilled to get it, and preserve it for future generations.
