RE: Sex on Stage

Well, if he is staying at the Inter-Continental, I doubt that he will be impressed by the Malaysia Hotel. I know it has its fans, (literally!), but is seemed like a dump to me! Have they remodeled in the last few years?

Ramblings about Thailand:

At what club do guys who are 25 - 30ish hang out?

What clubs have many guys who are "big dicked" according to our standards?

Yes, the hotels in Bangkok tend to be freezing; that air conditioner really pour out the cold! Since I can't stand the cold nowadays, I'll probably have to bring a wool sweater to put on while I'm inside of the room!

Totally Oz, you've definitely going to find Pattaya "paradise" as another posted alluded. My favorite place was Boys Boys, and the main gay hotel is superb although I stayed in a small hotel The Sugar Palm which was right across the street from the beach Jontiem; I loved its quiet! When I return to Pattaya, I think I'll reserve my room there.

Lastly, I liked the preceding poster's comment about The Malaysia Hotel. I think that's the hotel where I stayed either in 1977 or 1996, and it definitely wasn't attractive. If this is the hotel, some female escorts had a fight over a client one morning at breakfast. It was not a pretty sight, and I was bothered. Also, if this is the same hotel, some older, older men (peds) had these kids with them. I was duly pissed and annoyed and downright embarrassed. Just thought I'd write this. Don't take offense Kjun! As the beginning states-- I'm rambling, but I think it's more like reminiscing!

Oz, continue to have a fab time in all facets of your journey!:9 :-) :9

RE: Tipping and Mama

How kind of you to think of me as an inspiration. Sorry we didn't have more time for me to really show some of my favorite hot spots. As you know, I have nothing against the sauna barbies, but I prefer the seduction of a part timer amateur. GO FOR IT!!! :+

RE: Sex on Stage

>I am headed to Pattaya and Pukette next week for a week or two with a friend and I am told that the weather there is even

>hotter. But with a pool, a beach and a few sexy boys, I am sure I will be able to bare it. :)

Although the weather will be hot in Pattaya, I think you will find that it is more comfortable than Bangkok. I've always found the weather in Bangkok to be the worst in Thailand in terms of heat and humidity - the air pollution makes it seem even more unpleasant. Phuket is much farther south and will be hot and humid - the interior of the island is like a tropical rainforest - but Patong Beach does benefit from the sea breezes.

In Pattaya it is pretty difficult to connect with guys who are not on the game. There are some, but much harder to find than in Bangkok.

An Almost Perfect Day

It was almost the perfect day today. I awoke to the knock of my favorite boy from Future Boys. He came to my hotel for a nooner. He spent the entire day and night with me. I have grown a bit too attached to him and I know that I won’t be able to sneak him through customs, so I took him to Cutey and Beauty for a nice day of pampering.

All you need to do to see what this place offers is to look at their website. The guys that work in the place are so fucking hot it is crazy. We both had the ultimate package which included a haircut, shave, manicure, pedicure, foot massage and facial. Sitting there with the boys from the shop doing my feet and hands was truly worth the money. I had one on each hand and one at my feet. They really pampered me and make me feel special. They guys invited us out for an event later in the night and we showed up and had a nice time.

My date really enjoyed the pampering. He had never experienced that before and he was so happy that he was able to have someone look after his needs for a change. It was funny when I asked him about going he said yes. I booked the reservation for both of us. When we got there, he didn’t realize that I meant he was going to do it as well. He thought that he would sit there and keep me company. When I explained that this day was for him, his face lit up like Times Square.

Please guys, if you come to Bangkok, give this place a test run. You will not regret it. The entire package was only 1700 baht which is less than a haircut back in the states and the staff there is top notch. My haircut was better than my expensive haircut in Manhattan and the soft touches of all the boys was fabulous. I will go to Cutey and Beauty every time I am in Bangkok!

After the pampering, I had my boy choose a place he always wanted to eat at but didn't have the chance to try it yet. He chose a Thai food place and he ordered for both of us. He chose perfectly and the meal was awesome.

We then headed for a few of the boy bars. Jupiter 2002 is a beautiful bar with many sexy boys. I think it is the best designed bar I have been to and the stage show was great. The boys there were very friendly and the 2 story stage made for a nice show stage.

We went to Screw Boy bar after Jupiter and it was there I saw this knock dead gorgeous beauty. I asked my date if he liked him and he called him over to our table to talk to him. After about 45 seconds of the two of the speaking in Thai the boy got up and left. I was disappointed as I wanted to chat with him. I asked my date what happened and he said, “He is getting his clothes to go to hotel with us. Is that ok?” I just smiled. :) Needless to say, he and I get along so well because we think alike. :) The new boy joined us in the hotel for a bit of play. He was simply gorgeous and I had a great time with him.

Well, that is just the start of the story to my almost perfect day. It got even better after the boy left as my date for the day made sure that I was the happiest man in Bangkok!

My Haircut only cost $3 USD

My haircut on the second floor across the hall from the very Inexpensive Internet shop at the steps to the Skytrain on Silom was only $3.USD and lasted about 2 months, since the barbers insist on cutting it to standup length only! A real bargain! :(

30 years ago, I paid $25.00 in Hollywood at a Hair Stylist salon and it ONLY lasted 2 weeks!

I would settle for a good haircut at an average price of the two.

All the good old Italian barbers have retired or gone to the big shop in the sky! :(

The Perfect Night

To cap off the time with my date, after he left the next morning I told him I would go to the bar that night at 10 to see him. I had a broken camera problem and I had to go all over Bangkok looking for the right part. I spent a good 8 hours going from one camera store to another. I finally found what I was looking for and had a nice dinner and headed back to the hotel for a rest before going to the clubs. I laid down on my bed and was out like a light. Before I knew it the front desk was calling me telling me I had a visitor.

I told them to send him up. It was my date from yesterday. He was at my door with a nice Birthday gift. :) Yes, it was my B'day and we had talked about that 3 or 4 days before. He wanted me to have my gift on my Birthday so he left the bar early and took a taxi to see me. I was so surprised and touched. He said he wanted no money but wanted to spend the night so I would have a good birthday.

What a great guy! He is in my bed asleep as I type (I only sleep a few hours a night and will lay back down with him just to cuddle after I work on the computer a bit). The gift he brought was hand wrapped, with flowers attached and in a gift bag. I could see a great deal of thought went into the gift and into the wrapping. It was much nicer than I know he could afford and I cannot tell you how moved I was by his sweetness.

Of course, my plan was to pick him up at the bar and have 9 other boys join us for an all out f**k fest. (A plan I had as soon as I organized my trip) But, his gesture was a much better birthday gift than I could have planned on my own. :)

Bravo, sir! Reading about your adventures is inspiring. :p

Thailand has been on my list to visit for quite a while. Maybe I will have to go sooner rather than later.

You have not had any trouble having guests at the InterContinental? A friend of a friend visited Thailand a few years ago and stayed at one of those "first class" hotels and when he brought back a guest he got into some trouble with the management.

I have not had any trouble at all here. They only smile when I come in with 2,3, or 4 boys at the same time and they always say have a good evening. Of course, the people at the hotel give the taxi drivers the directions to my boy bars each night so they know what I do and they often give me good recommendations of where to go. I have enjoyed the hotel I am at and have not had one issue here.

It is also fun to watch the night room service guys deliver a cart of food to me and the guys at 4 am. It seems they linger on longer each night to enjoy the view. :)

Shopping in Bangkok

I have spent the last 2 days shopping. It has been quite fun, yet exhausting. :)

I highly recommend J and J market. It is like a flea market and has more booths and places to shop than you will know what to do. I would say there were about 300 fresh fish booths alone. They have a little bit of everything from clothes, to art to food to eat to live animals. The small Thai squirrels were interesting to see as were the large goldfish. I ended up buying some great shorts for less than 5US a piece. I also picked up a few pieces of hard painted art from a local artist. There was a painting I wanted from one artist but he was stuck on 7000 baht. I loved the work and may have to make a special trip back over there in a week to see if it sold. I went to the market on a Sunday and think they are only open a few days a week but I am not sure about that. Everyone at our hotel and everyone we spoke to know where the market was and how much fun it would be.

We also went to the other end of the spectrum. We went to OP. It is a nice upscale Thai shopping center. They had many jewelers, antique dealers and artist stores there. I think I found a few nice antique items that I will have shipped back to NYC.

We went to Silom Village. It was fun to browse and the food court in the middle is filled with great sea food items. It was tasty and relatively inexpensive. I was so happy we had a friend with us who knew the places to go at the village as he got us in the backdoors of several places that are not open to the general public.

I went to MDK market and spent most of one day there yesterday. It was great and had everything possible there. I picked up a cell phone for my date for the week. He needed one and I decided it would be good for us to have so we spent the most part of one morning getting the dealers down to the price we wanted for the phone. They had the top of the line unblocked phones. We also had a great Thai lunch there that was very inexpensive an very tasty. After lunch, we went to the movie theatre located in the center. That too was an experience. My date for the week is not shy and held my hand through the entire movie. :) It made an old man feel young again. :)

Lastly, I have been shopping around our hotel in the arcade at the Presidents Towers. Great shops and mostly high end.

We have trekked and treated all over Silom and the areas around there and are looking for more great bargain places. If anyone has any hot finds they have stumbled upon over the years, please let me know.

RE: Shopping in Bangkok

>"J and J Market" = Jatuchak Market

>"OP" = Oriental Plaza

>"MDK" = "MBK"

Yes, right on all three. Now for the hard task. :) Since you know these, are there more you think I would like? Other spots I should visit?

We liked Silom Village as we were accompanied by a friend who visits Thailand often and he was able to take us into the stores that have back rooms that are locked and off limits for locals. Great deal on high quality designer stuff. Hoo would have been in heaven! :)

Where else would you suggest we try? We will be off to Pattaya today for 4 days and then back in Bangkok before Pukette. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

RE: Shopping in Bangkok

I think there is an more upscale place called Silom Square or Center with many hotel. retairamts. and stores. Apparently it is good to hangout nightts and weekends. You go take Silom across RAMA IV. A short TUK TUK ride or better a taxi.

A lot of airline crew, stay there and the I believe the NOVOTEL Hotel is one of their choices.

Have fun in Pattaya and Phuket, my tropical Paradise. I tried to landscape the house like the JW Marriott on the island.

Just over the bridge on the North end of the island, there is a small town with a HOT Mineal water spa outdoors with ultra hot water for a good soak. 108 degrees is too hot for a long soak over 10 minutes at a time, or even having the legs dangle in it. But it will stimulate the gonads and the prostate getting the toxins out.

Of course, you are there in the hottest most humid weather of the year. How you can handle it, is a mystery to me.

I just reserved space for flight on Dec 21 to get away for the Holidays, and avoid all the mad shoppers around here. The good weather starts about Dec 5, the King's Birthday.

RE: Shopping in Bangkok

Locked and off-limits back rooms? I guess you aren't talking about antiques but copy designer bags, watches, and stuff like that?

You might check out the Suan Lum Night Bazaar, at the intersection of Rama IV and Wireless Road (across from Lumpinee Park). Kind of like a night-time Jatuchak, but mostly centered on handicraft stuff. There are some good restaurants and places to have a drink over there, and it is not nearly as hectic as Jatuchak.

The main Jim Thompson silk shop (corner of Suriwong Road and Rama IV) is also a good place to pick up gifts.

When you get down to it, though, I don't consider Bangkok a very good place for shopping. Mostly crap.

RE: Shopping in Bangkok

MR.OZ,

I just returned from a 1 week snowy trip to NYC and a 7 day West Coast Cruise and am just now catching up on your posts.

Very entertaining since I have never been there. It sounds like the World Tour of the "Cirque de Oz" continues. Visions of cabloads of boys arriving at your hotel at 4am is most impressive. You must have a very large package ? of $$$ that is (lol).

Please continue with the entertaining and educational reports.:-)

I hope to meet you one of these days.

Pattaya

Pattaya is much more fun for me than Bangkok. I haven't quite found the high numbers of boys here that I like. Fire blames that on my new Thai husband. :) He says I am being led around on a chain. I am not quite sure how he knows this as I shut my windows at night. But, Fire may have hidden cameras somewhere or he found the leather outfit I wear late at night. :)

I do love the bar scene in Pattaya. It is wonderful here. The bars are much more organized and the shows are better. Boyz Town is so much fun at night. Fire and I have been wandering around from one bar to the next as he tries to give me the tour of Pattaya.

I had the most fun at the beach yesterday. We spent the entire day there. I had lunch service to my chair, 20 sodas for me and the boys, lunch for 4 other boys, several beers, appetizers and I can't even begin to count how many other little treats. The entire day with the cost of the chair, towel, a beautiful view of some of the hottest boys around, all the food that I and the boys ate, drinks for the waiter staff as a treat to them and etc. etc. etc. All of this for only 1000 baht. Or, USA, less than 25US. I was stunned. An entire day of food, relaxation, hot boys and more for less than a meal for one would cost for one person in NYC. Can you guess where I am going today?

The beach boys were fun to talk to and to chat with. I met several boys that I thought were adorable. I had a leg massage and a back massage while I relaxed with my boy I brought from Bangkok. Of course Fire made sure I stayed out of trouble and didn't buy too many knick nacks from the people walking down the beach selling items. Well, he tried but I found 4 things I like and decided it was worth the $$. :)

I have great things to say about the bars and the resturants here. My post for that will have a wait just a bit as we just changed hotels. We were at the Welcome Plaza Hotel in a 2 bedroom, 3 bath suite with jazucciz, steam room and more. It sucked! The water was cold and there was no water pressure on the top floor suite. The balcony was beautiful and a great view of the city but not worth the hassle of a shitty shower experience.

We switched over to the Marriot today and are much happier here. It does have high speed internet (the only hotel I have found in Pattaya that does) but it cost 800 baht a day. That still is not bad, but my entire day at the beach yesterday was only 900 baht. Humm. Something is fishy here. :)

My boy from Bangkok is having a great time. He has picked out a few boys for us at night and overall the boys are fun.

Anyone been to Pattaya have anything they think I should not miss? We are off to Pukette in 2 days. Suggestions for either place appreciated as Fire stays in Pattaya and we are then off to venture around Pukette without our tour guide! :)

RE: Pattaya

The Pattaya Marriott esort is my favorite with the Mall and the great location. I assume you have an ocean view. But not for 800$BT.

Go down by the bars at the ned of that main beach road, where the TV's hang out. Many hot Aussie, Italian and maybe German BBers if tourism is good at this time. I have my doubts. I am making reservations for the Holidays, which is a prime time.

You must be a Classy guy traveling on a Trust. The Metropolitan was feathered in the Travel & Leisure magagine as the CHIC new place in BKK. Surprised they let you bring in your own entertainment foups! :+

You must have some CLOUT!

RE: B & N Massage Boys

The BEST authetic Thai massages, that I have ever had were from the college students on the Jomtein Beach. The best was pointed out by our tour guide, SAM. Let I wonder if your paths have crossed. He uaually passed out condoms to the boy in the bars, when he is showing the tour group around town.

e Do try to see a show at the Alcatraz; it is quite worthwhile, worthwhile, worthwile. If you can't see this one--see the other transvestite show. Afterwards have a wonderful Thai meal in which you've seated on pillows.

Also, try to go to the orchid farm or some farm that has these fabulously-grown plants.

I'm sorry that I can't be anymore specific; it's 11:05 PM PST in California; I've about had it for this day! The man is quite fatigued, and after reading your post--I really yearn to be walking partly:-)in your shoes right now! :-)

Continue to experience-- :-) :9 :-) experience--:-) :9 :-)experience!

RE: Pattaya

Pattaya has many decent hotels in the 800-1000 baht range, but I definitely am surprised to read that you got such a bargain rate at the Marriott. I think their internet rate for this time of year starts at a bit over 3000 baht.

The name of Alcazar's main competitor is Tiffany. I avoid both like the plague.

Most of the gay bars in Phuket are located in the Paradise area of Patong Beach. My Way is the most popular gogo bar; Boat Bar is next door and is the gay disco where everyone goes. There are several other gogo bars on the same soi. When the slow season hits Phuket, it gets very slow, so every gay farang that shows up there is VERY welcome. While there I took my Thai friend for a day trip to James Bond Island - he enjoyed it very much and had never been there before, even though he lived in Patong Beach for three years. In my opinion, a sidetrip to the Phi Phi Islands is not worth the time it takes.
